Avalon NSW

We are looking for a mature person/couple to move into our cosy home in Avalon Beach and take care of our dog Ziggy.

LOCATION:
The house is situated in a very tranquil location, at the end of a quiet street. It's in close proximity to Pittwater beaches (about 15 min walk) and only a little bit further to Avalon Beach and shops (2 min by car). Plenty of beautiful spots around for swimming, paddle boarding, surfing as well as lookouts and walking trails. A lot of wildlife around, particularly birds, which regularly visit our balcony.

HOUSE:
We are currently in the middle of a renovation (hence no photos of the bedroom), but all major works will be completed before we go away and you'll be able to enjoy a very comfortable house (some patchy walls and ceilings will remain, but nothing that would impact your comfort). Open-plan living, boasting Pittwater views from the kitchen and dining room.

ZIGGY:
Ziggy is our 16-year old Maltese x Shitzu. He is pretty easy to look after, mostly sleeps all day. He needs to be fed twice a day and be given his medication once a day. He still enjoys a daily walk, nothing too strenuous. He gets quite stressed in stormy/rainy weather, particularly at night. Having a night-light on seems to help with his anxiety. Ziggy is allowed on couches and pretty much rules the house.

We also have another trip booked 26 May - 3 June, so there's a potential here for two house sits.

PLANTS:
There's a few plants around the house which require watering once or twice a week. The garden and the lawn will be fine with no maintenance for a week.
