Looking for a short break in a fabulous location?

Are you visiting Tasmania and looking for a stay in the picturesque hamlet of Beauty Point situated 40 min north of Launceston?

I'm looking for someone to look after my fur babies and home when I travel for work!. I have an adorable Lowchen and a newly acquired Italian Greyhound. Both of whom love to cuddle!
My next dates away are June 30th - July 14th 2024

With views of the Tamar River from every room in the house you will enjoy staying in this three bedroom house. A combination of indoor and outdoor living facilities makes for a lovely stay any time of the year.

The house itself is modern, light filled and fitted with a pellet heater and heat pumps (AC) for winter and summer conditions. All mod cons!

I have a small patch of garden (fruit trees) and potted plants on my verandah that will require watering while you are here, and a resident family of wallabies with the occasional echidna spotted in the back yard.

The aspect is private and with good neighbours

I'm looking for some one, or a couple who might enjoy the laid back lifestyle and everything the Tamar region has to offer

My house is clean, tidy and uncluttered. It is also all on one level making it easy to get around. There are a few steps up to the verandah and front door but otherwise all on one level.

The closest supermarket is in Beaconsfield with general services there as well. I am located 4kms from Beaconsfield or 3kms from Beauty Point PO.

If you're looking to enjoy Tasmanias' OFF SEASON, you can't do better than a visit to the Tamar Valley. Our days are sunny and surprisingly warm and our nights are crisp, ready to enjoy indoors.

Carol was an amazing house sit host. She knows exactly what she's doing and EVERYTHING was completely organized! She has a booklet with all necessary information and more. Her communication was fantastic and I had no questions to ask as she covered everything. Lau is a sweet pup and my son and he competed for who had the most energy, and they had a wonderful time together. Carol's house was a lovely place to relax for a few days in a very picturesque part of Tasmania. The home is clean, well equipped and spacious with a beautiful view of the bay. Lao Tzu is an affectionate, energetic dog who enjoys his walks and company.

I enjoyed this house and pet sit. The little doggie (Lao) was energetic and full of fun. He loved lots of cuddles and was such a pleasure to look after. Carol welcomed us into her home as if we were old friends. She was very accommodating and has all the information you require in a booklet. Her home is beautiful and a view you will never get bored off. Lao was so easy to look after. He stole our hearts immediately. We enjoyed taking him out on walks to explore the area. Thank you Carol for choosing us to look after him.

Carol was very friendly and left clear instructions for the care of her home and Lao. She has a lovely home with stunning views. Lao was good company and he enjoyed snuggling up on the sofa in the evening. We walked to Seahorse World every morning and Lao walked best when kept close on a short lead. Thanks, Carol; we really enjoyed visiting this part of Tasmania and we'll miss those fabulous views!

Carol is a wonderfully welcoming and experienced and has a complete list of everything you need to know ready to hand... Lao is a very companionable dog, He LOVES long slow walks where he gets to smell all the news, and leave his own updates - great for enjoying the wonderful views around Beauty Point. This house sit was our first ever and WOW what an experience! Carol the house owner was very helpful and friendly. We were very appreciative of all the extra efforts on Carol's behalf that made our job so much easier - including a wonderful pot of super yum soup that went down very well in the cooler weather. What a delightful time we have had housitting for Carol. Laosi is such a gorgeous puppy. He has a great personality and is very cute. The house is comfortable in such a beautiful area. The bonus was the view of the Tamar River while sitting on the deck enjoying our morning coffee. Carol was great with her communication , left detailed notes and was always very helpful.

We were very fortunate to be chosen to look after Carols house and young dog. My younger daughter and I enjoyed our time there very much. The young dog was good and he had a solid routine although he missed Carol very much.
