After using Aussie House Sitters as house sitters when we first moved to and were getting settled in Australia - we now use this site whenever we go away now we're settled here with a cat of our own.
We will be going away from the Friday 24th - Friday 31st May / maybe Saturday 1st June & we are looking for a couple or single person to look after our cat Fern.
She doesn't need much looking after, just feeding in the morning, evening and a little bit of food just before bed (or she'll wake you early ;-)). She has a lot of energy and likes to play so we would like someone who is able to give her playtime and who has lots of experience with and love to give cats - as she is super affectionate and just likes to be around you.
We live in a 4 bedroom house in South Umina Beach. Next to the bush & < than 5 mins drive or 25 min walk to the beach Your room will be a double room with en-suite.

We loved our stay in Marrickville with little Fern, she's the funniest little cat, with a funny character and lots of entertaining little quirks.
Natasha & Rob were super easy to get along with and even with limited reception on their travels they made sure to respond to any of our questions.
Their home is very comfortable and in a great location, especially if you enjoy markets. We loved the garden and the shower!
We had a very pleasant time in Natasha and Rob's place. Lovely house an incredible location. Taking care of Fern was really nice, she is a very adorable, cutest cat and has a very strong personality. She was always around and like to sleep on our lap, what's so cute.
Spending my time with Fern was one of the cutest experiences I had in Australia xD She is shy and bossy at the same time. She used me as a pillow to sleep on but how dare I if I tried to touch her xD I am a fan. She moves super elegantly and is hungry all the time. She is vocal and will set her boundaries clearly! Still will stay close by and give you company the whole day.
The communication with Natasha was super clear as well. I enjoyed my stay and would come back for a sit any time!

We only did a short sit for Natasha & Rob, but it was very easy to get settled in upon arrival. The guest room was very comfortable and their home was perfectly equipped for a long weekend stay. The location is fantastic! Fern took a little while to warm up but once she did she was such a cuddle bug! Natasha was easily reachable and responded quickly.
Natasha and Rob were both super kind, communicative and made us feel welcome in their home while they were away.
The house is super well located, with everything you need just a stone's throw away.
The real star of the show was Fern. Fern is the most sweet natured, loving, cuddly little sassy cat in the world. Spending time with her was an absolute pleasure and we will both miss her a lot!
Fern was the most wonderful cat to take care of, so chilled and easy-going but full of personality at the same time. We had a wonderful time with her, will miss her purrs and cuddles and look forward to sitting with her again! Natasha was lovely and great to communicate with, and the house is in a fantastic area. Highly recommended!
I had a great experience house sitting for Natasha and Nathan! They have a lovely home (and garden) and it was a pleasure being there to look after their gorgeous cat. They were very friendly, easy going, and have been house sitters themselves so knew the deal! Fern is ridiculously cute and cheeky. I really appreciated them making room for my car too. Thanks guys!
