Hi there,

We are requiring a live-in pet sitter for 4 weeks in July/August to look after our dog and three horses. Our property is on 3-acres in Jimboomba in a quiet street with good neighbours.

Our dog is a 9 year old great dane/bull arab cross who LOVES attention and being inside with you. She is very gentle and an easy dog to take care of. She is used to someone being home most days, so we would ideally need a sitter who can do the same, to keep her company.

We have 3 horses - two standardbreds and a mini pony. All are very well behaved horses, polite and easy to handle. Any applicants MUST have experience with horses - daily feeding, yard clean up, paddock maintenance, and daily rugging/unrugging. As it will be winter, we will need someone with experience to know which rugs are required when, to ensure the horses are comfortable. The eldest horse is 23 years, and although very fit and in good condition for his age, requires proper rugging throughout winter to maintain his weight. Horses don't need daily grooming, but a brush once a week would be great. Daily checking of their hooves is required.

No garden care required. Everything else with the property is pretty self-sufficient! The animals are our priority, to find a carer to keep them company and offer them all the love and cuddles!
