We need a house sitter

South Coast - Southern Highlands

Fiona

House with air conditioning and ceiling fans, and our guest room with queen-size bed will be available for house sitters to stay in. Established gardens just require watering every few days. Must be good with animals, and love cats and dogs. We have three cats, who live inside (with outside access only in their cat park), and 1 small dog who lives outside in the back yard/patio area. We also have 3 hens who give us fresh eggs every day. Hill Top is a small Southern Highlands village with a post office & a few local shops, and limited public transportation. Main town Mittagong has supermarkets, train station, golf course, restaurants, pubs, bowling alley, shopping centre, and is 20 min drive. Movie theatre is in Bowral, 25 min drive, along with many boutique shops and cafes, with more supermarkets. The Southern Highlands has many fabulous restaurants and local wineries to visit.

Felt at home very quickly in the beautiful setting, surrounded by nature. The fur kids all have their own quirky characters and we enjoyed their company, probably more than they enjoyed the strangers in their home. Lol. Milos was happy to sit on his chair at the table, in his blanket while Pete played his pc games. We will remember our memories here fondly. Big thanks to Fiona & Paul for letting us stay in your home. :)

It was a joy to get to know the tiny, enthusiastic dogs. They warmed up quickly and were very easy to care for. The rescue cats were reclusive and scared, completely as expected, but no problem to care for. The home owners made us feel very welcome, and everything (appliances, garage, piano, pet food delivery, internet) all functioned exactly as we told when we first visited. We had questions during the housesit and the home owners resolved everything quickly from overseas. Definitely ... MORE
