Hi,

We’re looking for a genuine dog lover to take care of our gorgeous puppy Hendrix in our relaxing, small detached home in the heart of Marrickville.

Hendrix is a 16-month-old wire-haired fox terrier. He is a gorgeous little fella: super-friendly, very affectionate, playful and well-socialised with other dogs. He is easy to take care of providing he has had his walks and plays.

This housesit wouldn’t suit someone who goes out to work or who wants to be out and about a lot. It would suit an individual, couple or small family who have experience with young dogs and would love to spend time with ours.

Hendrix is happy to be on his own for 4-5 hours when you need to go out provided he has been exercised before you leave and has his treats. He also goes to doggy day care every Thursday, so you will have that day to yourself.

We live in the heart of Marrickville, very close to the train station, We have a 2 bedroomed detached house with a great outdoor area/garden. The house is not overlooked, and the deck offers a lovely view of the city. It’s a sweet, relaxing space. We are close to the Cooks River, which is great for dog walks and dog parks.

If you feel like you have the time, energy and love to take care of our little boy while we are away, we would love to hear from you and arrange a time for you to meet Hendrix.

Such a joy to mind a cute Hendrix for Ruth and Ellie. From the beginning, there was very nice communication with both of them. They are kind, friendly, and all needed information is well provided. Their home is cozy, clean, and comfortable, with a beautiful garden. Hendrix is a happy dog; once he gets cuddles, company, outdoor fun, and play. :) That's very easy and enjoyable to achieve. This was such an enjoyable petsit. The owners, Ruth and Ellie are lovely and communication was easy. Maisie is a wonderful little character, not one for wanting much patting but just loves to be with you, so interested in everything going on in an easy undemanding way and in relaxing time is happy to be just quietly near. We highly recommend this sit. Maisie is a wonderful, calm, friendly dog who is very special. She loves her walks and be prepared for many smiles everywhere you go as she is absolutely gorgeous! Ruth and her partner were a pleasure to meet and their home is in a perfect spot in Marrickville, a short stroll to some lovely restaurants and many dog friendly places too. They have a great garden to play ball with Maisie or just relax in. We would love to sit for Maisie again!
