We need a house sitter

Sydney - Northern Beaches

Sue

A townhouse to live in, a medium sized dog to be walked daily and small garden to be watered occasionally, perhaps with a lawn mow during your stay. The lawn is about the size of a one car garage.
The dog is a cocker spaniel and sometimes stubborn about not walking. You have to be firm.
We live in an over 55 complex, comprising 9 townhouses. Each has 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms and has a one car garage.
We would prefer a mature aged sitter to fit in with the the other residents.
We are adjacent to a bike path that leads to Dee Why beach in one direction, 25 minute walk, and Narrabeen Lake , 20 minute walk ,in the other. In fact, you can walk/ cycle all the way around the lake if you want ( 13kms round trip).
Non smoker essential.

Gracie is a lovely dog and I really enjoyed spending time with her. She is very easy to look after, friendly and loves a treat or scratch. Sue and Dave are lovely, easy to get along with and made everything easy. Their houses was clean and extremely comfortable. with lots of local shops and the bus stop just out the front. Highly recommended!

It was also very nice to stay in your home which was easy enough to get around & see Sydney's lovely northern beaches from.. My house sit in Cromer was very welcoming due to good communication beforehand and meeting with owners the day before. Their home and 10 year old Gracie, the Cocker spaniel were a delight. Gracie became a good mate, a robust walking companion and I was never lonely at meal times! The walking tracks at the door, nearby coffee/ food shops and lovely Dee Why beach all made for an enjoyable time. Great experience.
