Hello,
If you are looking to spend Spring/Summer in a warmer climate then look no further.

We are looking for a non-smoking couple to care for our pets and our home and are reasonable keen gardeners who loves to tend to plants (we are on an acre).

We have two Border Collies, Bentley (10yrs) & Bella (3yrs) who just love being outdoors. They enjoy your company when pottering around watering and tending to the plants etc. They are happy to play with the ball or rope and run around playing. As we are retired they are use to having people around during the day.
The duck, chickens, and a variety of other birds (finches, budgies, cockatiels, lorikeets, and ring necks) are in aviaries and quite easy to care for.

We have some irrigation automatically set for watering of grass and some garden beds with only pot plants requiring to be hand watered. Mowing will be required each week and possible whipper snipping. As it is Spring/Summer pool maintenance is required with cleaning once a week (pool maintenance/chemical rebalancing will be organised with local company mid stay).

There is plenty of room on the driveway to house your motorhome/caravan and hook up to water and electricity for your stay. However, there is a guest room available if required.

We are 30 mins from the beach (The Strand) 2 mins drive to Ross River Dam (fishing permits can be applied for through the Council) and not too far from various other attractions such as crystal creek, great barrier reef, Billabong Sanctuary, Magnetic Island, or you can take advantage of the pool for those relaxing warm days.

Angela and Brian are a lovely, friendly couple. They have a nice easy to maitain house and garden. The two dogs, Bentley and Bella are very affectionate and loveable - very easy to care for. We enjoyed caring for the numerous birds, cockatiels, finches and rainbow lorikeets - all of which suprised us with breeding season during the stay, watching the tiny chicks hatch. A truly lovely couple to sit for. They were very generous with their time prior to their departure to ensure that I had all of the house and pet needs correctly understood. Bird lovers - you WANT to stay here! The dogs are extremely friendly once they get over their initial nerves, so be prepared to give lord of scratches and throw the ball plenty. It was an absolute pleasure to look after Angela and Brian's home and pets. They have a lovely home on a large block that makes it very easy to exercise and play with the dogs, Mollie and Bentley, who are adorable, loveable pets. The cats, Charlie and Tiggy, are no trouble as well as the various birds. Angela and Brian made us feel very welcome and explained everything very well. Caring for Angela and Brian's home and wonderful pets was an absolute pleasure. They are just lovely people to talk with both before during and after the sit and their home is beautiful, spacious, clean and the entertainment area and pool were fantastic to use during the afternoons and evenings. No rating We house sat for Angela & Brian earlier this year and it was fantastic. Lovely home with plenty of room to play chase with their two beautiful dogs, Mollie & Bentley. Very well behaved pooches with adorable personalities. Would love to sit for them again someday.
