Brisbane - Outer Northern Suburbs
Janice
We have a single storey home on a deep water canal on bribie island. There is an electric gate and 6 ft solid wooden fences surrounding it in addition to external cameras. The home is of modern coastal design and build with wifi, Netflix, Britbox, ducted air conditioning, swimming pool, under cover al fresco area as well as a large deck surrounding the pool. There are numerous gardens and outdoor pot plants. We have one 7 yo Irish setter, Seamus. He is extremely easy going but requires at least 30 mins exercise once a day, preferably a run in the off-leash dog park or on the beach (on a long lead) where he can splash in the ocean. He is a big setter (50kg) and very strong. He has a strong prey instinct and likes to chase birds. This has never been a problem as he has never caught any! But it does mean that the person holding the lead must be vigilant and strong. Seamus is an indoor/outdoor dog, does not suffer from separation anxiety, is laid back with storms, thunder and fireworks. For some reason, he hates bush turkeys, kangaroos and trailers of all types and will try and chase them. He will also steal any food he can reach. We require someone who is experienced/comfortable caring and exercising large dogs. The house itself requires no special skill. The pool is fully automated but will require regular testing and possibly the addition of chemicals such as acid. A nearby pool shop tests and supplies these as well as giving advice. Sorry, no room to park a caravan or motor home. By the way, these is no landline but mobile reception is good.
