We need a house sitter

Melbourne - Mornington Peninsula

Hi, my husband and I are going on a quick trip to Noosa to celebrate 40th birthdays in early June. As we are empty nesters and 3 of our kids are coming with us, there's no one to look after our furry family.

We live in Tyabb, which is on the Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne. We have a large home with a decent sized backyard, as well as a pool (which looks after itself). Tyabb is semi rural but only 15 minutes from Frankston and Mornington, plus only 5 minutes from Somerville or Hastings where they have larger shopping.

We have 6 y.o Kobi (mixed breed), 12 y.o. Max (Maltese), 15 y.o. Charlie (long haired domestic cat) and 7 y.o. Daisy (black and white domestic cat) as well as 5 chooks. All animals get on beautifully with each other.

We have a 4 bedroom house, but only 2 set up as bedrooms (1 is my office, the other is Steve's office/playroom).

Loved our stay at Jenne and Steve's the house is beautiful and homely and we felt comfortable to relax straight away. They have an awesome outdoor area, beautiful gardens and pool and we enjoyed the Xmas lights and decorations as well as the smart google home set up. You can tell the animals are well loved and cared for, they were so chill and had their own spot in every room to hang out with us. The dogs were very well behaved and easy to take on walks. A beautiful home and garden with a lovely variety of pets. The fur family all made me feel welcome and loved being next to me for a rub or brush on their backs and bellies. The area is close to shops and open spaces including Mornington Peninsula. Steve and Jenne are lovely home owners who communicated well and made me feel very comfortable. In warmer weather the pool would have been lovely. Definitely a 5 star experience.
