We're in a small town in the Adelaide Hills with great views and walking distance to the local pub. Public transport is limited in this area, so having a car is a must. Amy Gillett bike track is nearby, going to Mount Torrens or the other way to Woodside, Oakbank and Balhannah - they have Park Runs here Saturday mornings. Two nearby towns only 5 minutes drive supply all your needs - supermarket, cafe, pub, fuel, florist, mechanic, tyres, library, vet, gym, doctor, dentist, lawyer, newsagent, post office, etc. Farmers markets can be found in Mount Pleasant and Mount Barker on Saturday mornings, around 20 minutes drive. Room for a small caravan, but prefer you stay inside in our guest room so the dogs aren't by themselves.

We have three friendly dogs that love human company and would prefer someone to be around most of the time. They can be left alone for periods of up to 8 hours, though preferably not every day. We have a female English Staffy (12 years old), and two male Maltese cross dogs (Rocky, 8yo, and Sammy, 12 yo). They are low energy dogs, just require lots of love. Their welfare is very important to us - they are family. They are inside dogs with a doggy door to access the backyard for toileting, though Stella is lazy and we usually take her out the front for toilet breaks. They all sleep inside, Stella on the couch in the lounge, and the small dogs on our bed with us. Hopefully you won't mind some furry hot water bottles! Meals are usually home made mince + veg, and there will also be some biscuits and canned dog food (and lots of treats) available for them. Sammy takes regular medication - 1/2 tablet morning and evening, usually hidden in a small chicken treat.

There are a few indoor and outdoor pot plants that will require watering every 1-2 weeks.
