Hi, we are Kim & Kerry. We are looking for someone to look after our small property (aprox. 4.5 acres) and our 2 small dogs & chickens, and 1 x galah from the Monday 1st of July 2024 to Saturday 1st September. Our animals (fur babies) are very independent and only need someone to be feeding them early morning and night so your day time would be free to explore the area should you wish. Ti9er, the eldest has eye drops every Morning and night but is absolutely easy to deal with. Both dogs do sleep inside so sitters would need to accommodate them sleeping on or next to the bed. We are 20 minutes out of Launceston and very near to Tree tops adventure park, a major tourist drawcard in the north which has Segway tours, bike tracks and a newly opened obstacle course as well. Bridestowe lavender farm is just a 20 minute drive and Blue Derby bike trails is approx 50 minutes away. We love our home and would like someone that will appreciate its beautiful views and peace and quiet. We look forward to hearing from you. Travelers with their own vans are welcome as we have plenty of space and access to power and water should you need it.
This house sit is in a beautiful location. Kim and Kerry were lovely people who left clear instructions on their home and their dogs Tiger & Ruby. They were a delight to look after and friendly little poppets! We look forward to our next sit at their place. 🙂🙃🙂
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here at Lilydale. Ruby and Tiger are very affectionate and a joy to have around. Kim and Kerry were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. Their house is very homely in a peaceful location with picturesque views and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was a wonderful experience!
We thoroughly enjoyed looking after Kim and Kerry's beautiful property and enchanting animals. So much so that we still miss their gorgeous dogs.

Kim & Kerry are just so lovely & made us feel welcome right from the beginning.
Each morning we woke to an orchestra of cows, birds & roosters, plus the best view from our bedroom window.
The two little dogs, Tiger & Ruby are such beautiful characters, very easy to get attached to. They are extremely good communicators, ringing their bell to tell us when they want to go out. Tiger is such a gem almost deaf he rules the house, reminding us when breakfast & dinner should be served,

We loved looking after Tiger, Ruby, Charlie, Floyd & the girls. The house was very comfy with lovely gardens. Kim and Kerry were very warm and easy to communicate with. We're looking forward to going back to Lilydale again at Easter.
Looking after the property and pets was very easy as Kim had set out clear instructions for me, plus the animals were a pleasure to look after. All I had to do was fit in with them.

Ruby and Tiger were great company and easy to look after, The steers certainly made for some entertainment. Instructions were clear and simple, the outlook, despite the weather was beautiful and relaxing. Thank you for the opportunity.
Kim and Kerry gave us a warm welcome when we arrived in Lilydale, and, having had house-sitters before, were fully up to the challenge of bringing us up to speed with the needs of the dogs, cat, chickens, cattle and galah. .Tiger and Ruby are a lovely natured pair of fluff-balls who are very easy to love and to please. Behaviour-wise they are pretty good (except for the occasional possum chase at night), and they love nothing better than to cuddle up to you as you watch TV. Charlie the cat ... MORE
Kim and Kerry were very welcoming and organised regards information for the sit. Peter and I enjoyed very much looking after their babies and farm animals. We also enjoyed our stay in their comfortable home, and oh the apples . We would definitely recommend them for an enjoyable house sit.
We loved our farm sit for Kerry & Kim ..they are a lovely couple with a relaxed attitude ..the farm is situated in picturesque Lilydale & it's a lovely area to explore ..the farm house is very comfortable with everything you need including Foxtel ..the animals were a pleasure to care for especially the dogs Tiger & Ruby they slept on the end of our beds every night ...we loved collecting the eggs from the chooks every day & tending the veggie patch ..picking fresh raspberries every day was such ... I thoroughly enjoyed the peacefulness at Kim and Kerrys and the company of their 2 dogs, cat, galah, chooks and observing the 2 steers in the paddock.
Plus the fresh produce in their vege patch!

Peter and I had a wonderful time house sitting for Kim and her husband at Lilydale . We were given clear instructions, so we knew exactly what we needed to do to make sure everyone was happy. What a treat it was to have 2 gorgeous dogs accepting us immediately as their new friends, they were no trouble at all and we were able to spend the days sightseeing knowing they were fine at home.
