I love animals so much and the only reason why I don't have any now is because the apartment that I rent does not permit pets, but once I move to a new apartment, hopefully in a few months, I will have pets again. :)

I am actually a homeowner myself but I rent it out, so I understand that it takes a lot of trust to have someone in your home. House sitting fits in perfectly with my lifestyle. I work as a writer and have my own business on my website, so house-sitting is perfect for me as I spend the majority of time in the house working on my projects so am available for the pets whenever they require.
I currently live in a shared house, so housesitting enables me to have a place to myself, take a break from my everyday life, have some down time and really get a lot of work done!
As I stay inside a lot working, it means I am able to housesit pets which need a lot of care and attention. I have looked after service dogs, several dogs with separation anxiety, one dog with epilepsy and several dogs that needed daily medication. Some pets really need someone around to look after them, and that is good with me seeing as I stay indoors getting work done.

My whole life I have grown up and lived with cats and dogs and I just love them, they are part of the family. I miss my family pets back in England a lot, and cannot wait to one day again take our dog out into the park, giving her cuddles and share the bed with her.
I worked as a live in dog-walker for one year when I lived in Italy, we had 2 dogs and 1 cat and every day I would take the dogs out to walk and change the cat litter. Often the family went away at short notice and I was able to look after the house when needed. I feel very comfortable with most animals and have no problem clearing up their mess.
