~Why Us? ~

We’re Di & Ron from Perth, Western Australia. We’re fit and active semi-retired professionals, massive animal lovers (and life-time pet parents), who love to travel and experience new places, and especially love to spend time with new furry friends.

We’re experienced house-sitters, and have an Australian Police Clearance, available on request.

We currently live inner-city, Perth, but for many decades had a 5-acre hobby farm just out of the city. We’ve always had a family of much-adored dogs and (been owned by) many amazing cats over the years - but also horses, alpacas, a couple of goats and a passing parade of poultry during our ‘farm’ years. So, pretty much whatever pets you need us to love and look after - we have you covered!

We are both also long-time volunteers for POOPS (Pets of Older Persons: link available on request) - a not-for-profit that helps elderly, infirm and disabled pet owners with dog walking, transport, veterinary care etc, so that they can keep their pets with them for as long as possible, and know that they are getting the care they need.

Both of us don’t mind a bit of gardening, and we’re sensible and practical when it comes to figuring out the quirks of a property and any minor repairs. Di has been a volunteer strata manager of our complex for 8 years, and is experienced in handling various maintenance issues.

We’ve been house-sitting for friends across Australia for a number of years, and now that we’ve both recently wound back our work commitments, we’re looking to expand this experience.

The chance to hang out with animals, and to experience new places seems like a win-win, and you can be sure we’ll prioritise your pets over all else!

~ Why Pet & Housesitting? ~

We simply love animals, and travel. The opportunity to be (however briefly) part of a new community in a different location, to spend time with new pet-friends, and to meet new human friends is, for us, the dream lifestyle.

Having used pet-sitters for our pet-family over many decades, we have a great understanding of how crucial it is to have a reliable carer for your beloved pets (and house!) while you’re away. We figure that now we have more free time, it would also be lovely to be able to give some of that security to other pet owners.
