We are a trustworthy, kind and caring couple who are active, enjoying the outdoors and all aspects of life.
We are making a lifestyle choice, choosing to retire from our fast paced careers and take an adventure around this beautiful country, enjoying it at a slow pace, taking in what life has to offer, meeting new friends and most importantly being able to care for your pet, as we enjoy the fun times and special personalities each new pet we meet brings they enlighten our life experience. We enjoy being there for the pets, we walk each morning as a daily routine so having the company of a dog or two is great.
Andrew has worked as a School Principal for the past 30 years and enjoys the relationships he has with the children, colleague's and the community.
Andrew has coached Hockey in the schools and representative grades over the last 10 years with 4 of this students now playing for New Zealand, he has built cultures of excellence and team work resulting in positive growth within the individual and team.
Andrew continues to play cricket at club grade and has represented New Zealand over 50's
Sue has worked at UCOL Fashion School for 24 years and has a Masters in Art and Design, Business Diploma and NZ Management Diploma .
Sue was self employed with Stitch - It - Up Garment Alterations
Sue enjoys Embroidery, Knitting and Gardening and is always on the hunt for another piece of fabric.
We are both non smokers and enjoy a healthy lifestyle. We like to walk every day and it would be great to take a companion along with us.
We look forward to each housesit and caring for your pets and property as if they were our own.

Another epic home run with pet sitters! Andrew and Sue are amazing. Our dogs took to them at no time at all. Andrew & Sue were the ideal housesitters. They are a very friendly couple whom I had the opportunity to meet prior to the actual housesit booking. Meeting them gave me absolute confidence in them looking after my pets and my home. Throughout my absence they communicated regularly with me, providing lovely updates on my pets. We met Andrew and Sue before we went away and already knew that we were leaving our pets and house in the best of hands. They sent us update photos during our trip and were always responsive and easy to communicate with. Andrew & Sue were great house sitters! They had fantastic communication, left our guest house clean & tidy as well as looking after our beautiful cocker spaniels, going above & beyond to take them for walks even in the rainy weather.

Sue and Andrew were a perfect couple to have stay in our home and take care of our pet fish, chooks and cat. We were so very fortunate to find Sue and Andrew to housesit for us while we were away. They are a lovely couple who went above and beyond in every way. They updated us daily with a message and photo of Polly and Scruffy and when we came home we found 2 happy, stress free dogs and an immaculately clean house. We cannot thank them enough for helping us out. We will certainly be looking out to see if they are available next time we go away!

Sue and Andrew looked after our house and our 12-year- old Maltese Terrier, Buddy, for 13 days while we enjoyed a long-awaited cruise. We were so lucky to have two such wonderful people to house sit for us.

Andrew and Sue were easy to deal with and even came to meet our dogs beforehand. The dogs were well-looked after and Sue sent pictures and videos of them playing while we were away. When we returned from our trip the house was immaculate and Sue, a fashion designer, had even left a hand-embroidered gift. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.
Andrew and Sue were fantastic to deal with and to have staying at my place. They were fruendly, caring, great with communication, reliable, trustworthy, loving towards my dog, and they left the house perfectly clean and tidy. They stayed in touch with messages and sending photos and videos and I could see that my dog was enjoying their cuddles and company. They made the effort to come around to meet in person before the sit, which further shows their commitment.

Andrew and Sue were excellent guardians of our home and animals while we were on holidays for a week. We have a dog, cat, ferret and new puppy so I'm sure it wasn't easy to cope with the demands of or menagerie but Andrew and Sue were capable, kind and caring. We returned home to an immaculate house and happy animals.

Andrew and Sue were fantastic! From the first (zoom) communication to the end of their time at our house, we knew our dogs and house were in great hands! We were able to truly relax and enjoy our holiday as we knew our dogs were getting daily walks, lots of pets and were being loved by Andrew and Sue. Andrew and Sue were very reliable and thoughtful housitters. They took such good care of our cat Bella, sending us photos, and were very respectful of the house. They even left us a personalised hand towel made by Sue. Such a lovely touch. We'd definitely recommend them and would ask them again to sit.
Andrew and Sue were amazing house and pet sitters for us. Our dog seemed so happy and calm on our return, and was well loved and walked each day. We came back to a house even cleaner than what we left it and Sue had gone to the effort to fix a broken curtain in our lounge. We could not be happier with them. I would highly recommend them to anyone on this site looking for quality house/pet sitters.
