Hi There

I'm called as Pat or Paddy, even Tractor at times ... and soon to be affectionately known as The Maverick Nomad.

I'm a young in the mind yet old in the body 47 year old gentleman ... divorced 14 years with two children living overseas, I'm thrilled and eager with anticipation to begin my travels around Australia as a transient nomad ... with so little in life pinning me down or restricting me, I'm hoping to hop around the country from house sit to house sit ... and furthermore this allows good flexibility and availability at short notice in the role.

So to maintain purpose and meaning in life aside from keeping a home tidy and pets fed and watered ... I choose to spend my time active in several ways 1. Engaging with and impacting community at all levels 2. Furthering my self education in all colours and jurisdictions of law and their applicable lines of authority in so far as how they impact our rights, freedoms and liberties 3. Focussing on First Nations Youth in both urban areas and remote communities ... from pre teen to tertiary post graduate I believe there's much work long past overdue needing to be done in this space and I'm a8ming for this to be the biggest work of my life, most likely to fully kick off in early retirement or thereabouts.

I really enjoy exploring new places and meeting new people whilst travelling and always will, but these days for the most part I choose the quiet and minimalistic way of life ... by no means isolationist but enjoying time alone more often ... reflecting, inflecting and meditating ... watching and observing ... that kinda thing. If I head out to the pub it's to strike up conversation with the old Gent looking lonely in the corner ... I've been sober since 2017 but am not a non drinker by definition.

I'm psychosocially and physically disabled to varying degrees, but I refuse to let these issues limit or reduce my ability to live a full life, make a difference in community ... I never have and never will be a victim of life circumstance and consequence.

I'm a man of spiritual resolve and conviction practising my faith and belief very personally and on my terms ... I'm not a proponent or defender of religious dogma and doctrine, contending rather that one's spiritual journey is not so much about worship and submission as it is about having a deep and intimate relationship with any and all aspects, functions or modalities of the Creator Source Spirit/Consciousness. This means I have a conservative moral compass and my ethics and values respect certain boundaries ... and I enjoy the challenge of maintaining such a stance on core beliefs and views whilst simultaneously keeping an open and free mind to alter this with changing and evolving times and new information coming to hand. I detest the Marxist Woke Left Ideology and the terrible damage its doing to society in general, but in particular the confusion it places in the minds of our precious children. I'm anti globalist and anti multi culturalism, but believe there are still many ways for the separate cultural and ethnic dynamics of the transnational diaspora to engage with, learn from, interact with and still profit from one another ... I believe that interracial breeding is acceptable if not necessary ... but rue the day the entire world is just one coffee colour with all culture and tradition lost to blending.

Kids and animals are naturally drawn to my friendly and gentle disposition, if not immediately then in short due course.

I eagerly anticipate to begin life as The Maverick Nomad ASAP ... and pray some good folks out there seeking a mid to long term sit of their home/pets may see fit to give me serious consideration to be chosen as their sitter ... as to the ends of mutual benefaction.
