We are a quite retired couple, who do not smoke or drink, married 43 years, who enjoy travelling and meeting new people.
We have 2 adult children Dion and Deirdere.

I was born in Geelong, Victoria, but grew up on my grandparents sheep property in Guyra on the New England Tablelands, NSW.
Steve is from Yorkshire, in UK he arrived here in 1969.

Over the years we have had an assortment of animals from dogs(Silky Terrier, Poodle, Curly Coated Retriever), cats, birds guinea pigs and pet rats, and chickens as well as 2 show dogs a Gordon Setter and Hungarian Vizsla,
I also had a horse (a Standardbred) in the late 1970's.

In April 2021 we returned home from 5 years NZ, where we done about 20 house sits with Kiwi House sitters, looking after everything from dogs, cats, birds, sheep (feeding lambs), horses, cattle, donkeys, rabbits to just houses.

Our son Dion (43) is currently living with us and may come with us on sits, he is very quite does not smoke or drink,

Steve and Lacharna are brilliant housesitters. The house was immaculate when we returned and the dog, goat and chooks were happy. I hope they will come again next time we go away. They are trustworthy, reliable, tidy and experienced pet people. I can not recommend them more highly.

Came home to a very clean and tidy house. Steve and Lacharna were excellent house sitters and I would highly recommend them for future house sits. Cats were content which is always a plus.

Lacharna and Steve are lovely house sitters, they arrived a day earlier to learn the ropes, meet the pets and were more than happy check on the horses, cows and ewes who were due to lamb. Using the buggy to get around. They sent a video to show how the ewes and lambs were, On our return we found the house spotless and wood stacked on the verandah ready to light the fire. Thank you

They have a calm no fuss manner which was nice to deal with and the house was cleaner when we got home than when we left. They also sent us a couple of pictures of the dogs while we were away which helped a lot when we were missing them!
