We are semi-retired, live in our own home but now looking to house sit to experience living in different places while selling and looking for our next home. Being caring, reliable, honest people we will look after your home, gardens and animals as if they were our own. We have lived in town and on acreage and are comfortable in both e.g. have lived happily and sat successfully in places with rainwater only and off-grid power systems. We have a productive food and ornamental garden at home and have lovingly cared for our own dogs, chickens and sheep at different times. We have had highly successful sits including caring for a herd of Angus cattle, a large organic garden and an Australian bulldog. Gardens thrive in Lisa's care. Peter is very practical and can take care of most maintenance jobs if required. We both have broad life and work experience. Peter holdsd National Criminal clearances for his teaching and charity work. Lisa also held clearances for her work in schools. No rating Peter and Lisa are wonderful house sitters. They take very good care of the property and more importantly tend the plants and animals with love and attention. This lovely and gentle couple are quick to communicate when needed and quite capable of dealing with any maintenance issues that may arise during extended absence like ours, They also sent regular updates by mail, much appreciated by the owners when far from home. No rating Lisa and Peter were wonderful house sitters. They were great with my dog Rosie and cat Couscous in fact Rosie bulldog in particular really bonded with them and was sad to see them leave. While away I was kept up to date with how things were going and I appreciated the extra care they took with the garden, especially mowing the lawns. The house was clean and well looked after so I couldn't recommend them enough.

No rating Peter and Lisa looked after our property for two months while we were travelling, and it was a delight to come back home to a house that was better orgamised and prepared than when we left it! We were most impressed! In addition, the large veggie garden was in wonderful order, firewood had been cut and collected, chooks looked after and trained, windows cleaned.....so many jobs done we wondered when they found the time!
