CoupleRowan grew up on a Dairy Farm and has had a lot of experience with a wide variety of farm animals. He can manage tanks, pumps, irrigigation, mend fences and is a good all rounder on a Farm. We have looked after an Angus Low Line Stud at Connondale and various cattle properties. We can feed and water horses, poultry, goats and sheep.

We are Christina & Rowan who live in Pt Vernon Hervey Bay. We love to visit other beautiful areas and house sit.
We have been helping out as House and pet sitters part time for over 15 years.
Rowan and I love looking after chooks, dogs, cats, farm animals and gardens.
Kristina has had a lot of experience with elderly dogs, medication and their special needs including injections. She has been owned by many cats for 60 years and loves their diversity and wonderful personalities.
Retired now Christina is a homebody who loves to potter around the house, cook and garden. She enjoys drawing and painting, practises a gentle form of yoga chi gung, meditation, mindfulness, listening to podcasts, jazz, watch good movies, visit old friends and make new ones. Please note Christina is not able to navigate very steep slopes or staircases without handrails.
Rowan grew up in Proston near Kingaroy and is a very practical Man who has a lot of agricultural knowledge, loves gardening and is a great with all kinds of building, home and farm maintenance. He has had a lot of experience with larger animals, horses, cattle. He love cats and dogs too. Rowan really enjoys farm sitting.
Please note that we do not do any mowing.
Our combined experience means we can take care of your home in the City, Bush or Beach.
We don't smoke or take drugs, might have an occasional social drink, are quiet, easy going and very responsible. Your pets and home will be given lots of love and cared for while you are away.
You will be provided with all our references from previous house sits and Police Clearances from both of us.
If we are looking after your home and pets you can rely on us to follow your instructions to the letter, to be home most of the time and your home will be as you left it when you return.

Our house was returned to us in better condition than we left it and our boxer was very well loved and looked after. He is very timid and they were very accepting of the neighbours coming to help reassure him! Lovely couple and looked after the place and big puppy very well. Christina sent regular updates on how Buddy was doing, which was great. We felt relaxed on our holiday knowing he was in great hands!
I can't speak highly enough of Christina and Rowan who took awesome care of Malakai and the house. Kai even got a bath. Their communication was great. The house and yard was in better shape than when I left and it was lovely to come home after a long flight to freshly washed sheets on the bed. Highly recommend.

From the moment we met Christina and Rowan, we knew we had found lovely people who genuinely cared for our animals. We have quite a large mob of horses, dogs and chickens and they looked after each and everyone of them with love, care and attention. Christina and Rowan were excellent housesitters. Christina was a great communicator so we were never left wondering and this made not meeting in person much easier to manage. They cared for the dogs really well, even going out of their way to replace a bed that the dogs had chewed up. The house was not only left tidy but the bed sheets washed when we got home. Christina and Rowan were fabulous. They looked after the animals beautifully (playing with and walking our kelpie for numerous hours each day), left the house cleaner than it was before, made us a lovely dessert to have on our return and even wrangled some builders who arrived a week early for a job we had booked in! Christina & Rowan were absolutely fabulous ... it was wonderful to come back home and have nothing to do! The pets and gardens were tended to beautifully - I highly recommend these lovely people!! Will certainly be getting them back in the near future (I hope).
I am so glad Christina & Rohan house sat for me, looking after my 2 "boys". I came home to 2 well cared for cats & a home that had treated with care & respect. Christina was an excellent communicator, letting me know when they would arrive & when they were leaving. She also followed up to let me know they were home safely & to ensure I had arrived home safely.

If you need a Housesitter Christina and Rowan are the perfect couple. They have made my holiday relaxing and piece of mind knowing everything was fine. They had a few challenges but that didn't worry them they just called me to let me know and went on with fixing it. All the animals where loved and cared for even when they where naughty. They are very professional and I highly recommend them to anyone after a Housesitter. I would have them back in a heart beat.
Christina & Rowan were fantastic sitters, great communication, kept us up to date with photos of Willy, contacted us about mail deliveries and neighbourhood matters, a clean home and a very well cared for groodle - Willy will miss you ! We would highly recommend these experienced sitters and would have them back again !!!
I cannot say enough about Christina and Co. they are the best Housesitters- we have named them our Lilly angels! Their care for our little old dog is exceptional and they take care of her with the utmost love- she is 17 and has very special needs and they have gone over and above to ensure she is safe and relaxed whilst we are away.

Christina and Rowan arrived at the agreed time and our dogs Riva and Molly were relaxed with them straight away.
They asked questions about the house and the dogs routine and we felt comfortable leaving them with our home and dogs.
Whilst we were away they kept us up to date with the girls outings by sending messages and photos.

Christina and Ken looked after our home and animals while we were overseas for 3 weeks.
They did a wonderful job of looking after our 3 dogs and 6 chickens. The dogs were walked daily and either Ken or Christina would stay at home with my particularly sooky beagle so he wouldn't howl if left alone! The chickens were let out to fee range daily. It was great to have Christina and Ken look after our place in Childers. They are friendly and sociable people who took such great care of our two dogs that I don't think they (the dogs) noticed we had gone. We even got a very good original portrait of Zaphod! Our chooks and plants were well cared for, and the house was cleaner than we left it, with linen washed and on the line at our return. Christina and Ken looked after our furbabies and housesat for us for a week at the end of January 2017.
They are a lovely couple and kept us updated with messages and photos.
We also let them use our car and it was cleaned and filled up before we returned.

Christina and Ken housesat for us recently over the Xmas period. This was the first time we have used an "unknown" housesitter and we couldn't be more happy with Christina & Ken.
