Hi there!
We are Mara & Michael from Germany. In 2022 we quit everything at home and jumped into our biggest adventure: a trip around the world. 🌏
One big part of our trip is now over and after one year in Asia, we are now in Australia. After staying in hotels and hostels all the time and changing our location every few days, we are now seeking for routine and day to day life. This is why we decided to come to Australia with the Working Holiday Visa!
We also really miss living in a cozy home and not just in quite empty hotelrooms. And what makes a home the coziest? Right, animals! 😍
We really love all kind of animals and we do have probably as many photos of dogs and cats from Asia as from the beautiful scenery we saw.
Michael grew up with all kinds of animals: dogs, cats, ponies, goats and guinea pigs. Mara spent most of her childhood on a farm and was surrounded by horses, dogs, cats and chicken. We have experience in House & Pet sitting from Germany and Spain and came to Melbourne in August 24 and started our Australian sit adventure - we are really excited for this amazing town that we chose as our new home in Australia. And we are even more excited to make as many furry friends as possible here. We love discovering different animal characters and build a new friendship with them.
When you chose as your sitter you can be sure that your pets will be in best hands and we provide all the care regarding their individual needs. We are more than happy to play, cuddle, exercise and follow their feeding routine. We do also have medication experience with dogs & cats.
We are a really calm couple, who doesn’t drink or smoke. We like to spend our time with books, movies, walks and for sure animals. We are reliable, clean and trustworthy and you can be sure, that we will treat your home and your furry friend like our own!
We would love to meet you in person before and talk about all the character traits and individual needs of your pet, so we can give them the perfect care.

I cannot speak highly enough of Mara and Michael. They cared for our dog beautifully, the house was spotless when I came home. They were kind and wonderful people and their communication was excellent. Highly trustworthy and definitely would welcome them back to our home anytime.

Mara and Michael were absolutely amazing! Our Mr Bunz needs a lot of care, medication, and cleaning as he’s an old boy, but Mara and Michael did an amazing job of keeping on top of everything, giving him medications at the right time. They gave a lot of regular updates with photos, and called when they had any concerns on his medications etc. It was great to know they were being so attentive to him. Mara and Michael are amazing!! Would highly recommend and would use again if available. We were anxious about leaving our beloved but very shy cat Eris for 4 weeks - the longest time so far and she'd struggled with pet sitters previously. Mara and Michael's approach was great for her - gentle, kind and very responsible. They even did great research into bonding with shy cats that seemed to work really well!
