- I grew up in the country side with a pony, goats, chickens, piglets, rabbits and many cats)
- Cita, my father's German Shepherd was the best friend though
- I still love dogs the most - that seems to be reciprocal
- in my mid-twenties I got my first own dog Anja, an Irish Setter and cared
for her from baby onwards.
- Not so long ago we gave away the family dog, Gina, a Rhodesian
Ridgeback as I had to go overseas and our son went to Perth.
- I miss my beloved cat Mee Aohu who did not survive the moving
- I like talking to pets because they understand and don't talk back to me!
and ....they are happy to be talked to.. and listen with pet-most attention..
and talking to plants tends to make them greener too ..
- this way I befriended and cared for many dogs, cats, pets and plants along
my way. My favourite memory being Leo, the world's cleverest Bichoin I
ever met..
I don't smoke, drink or adhere to any other self destructive habits (as long as sometimes giving a bit too much of my time doesn't count as such ..) I love the outdoors and consider walking to be my greatest hobby, even though just walking from plant to plant in-or outdoors holds the same energising "nature experience" for me - of course, cuddling and communicating with your pet has pretty much the same effect ..
