Hi there!
My name is Harli. While I'm originally from the US, I haven't lived there for quite some time. I travelled around New Zealand for three years doing pet sits off and on, then moved over to Australia in 2022 and did the same. I took six months off to backpack around SE Asia but have now returned to the Sunny Coast (April 2024) and will be staying for at least another year.
Animals are my greatest love, but my lifestyle is too transient to have my own right now. Growing up I always had pets (dogs, cats, a snake), and I have a lot of experience pet sitting back in Florida. My fur baby for eight years was a bull mastiff, so large dogs have a special place in my heart. When she died, I started volunteering with the dogs at my local animal shelter. It helped me just as much as it did them and taught me so much about working with dogs from all different backgrounds. After university, I worked for Disney's Animal Kingdom before backpacking around Europe for six months. I also volunteered at Orana Wildlife Park during my time in Christchurch, New Zealand, and currently volunteer as an assistant zookeeper one day a week at Australia Zoo. My online job as an English teacher gives me a flexible schedule and means I have plenty of time to enjoy the pets I'm looking after.

Harli is amazing. She has such a depth and breadth of animal knowledge and love of animals that we felt very happy having her look after our aging cat and dog. The bond she’d created with both the animals after a short time was delightful and testimony to her lovely energy. Five stars ⭐️
We had no problems with Harli sitting for us. Everyone was alive and well and the house was in good order when we arrived home. There were regular updates about our puppies so we knew all was well and we could tell she really loved them. Harli was very accomodating organising the sit and all that it involved. I would definitely have her sit for us again.

Harli housesat for us on 2 occasions, the first time was for 10 days and the other for 7 weeks.
I was very nervous to leave my furbaby with someone I didn't know, but when I met Harli before the sit, my little dog took to her straight away.

Harli was a very responsible house sitter. She kept my pot plants watered and looked after my two cats. Her communication with me was excellent. She was invited to stay a little bit extra between jobs and it was just like having a family member in the house.

Harli has an obvious love of animals, and a calm, caring nature.
Roxy can be a bit anxious with new people, however quickly warmed to them both. We felt very comfortable leaving our very much loved, pets in their care.
Harli was quick to respond, happy to catch up beforehand and sent us some beautiful photos whilst we were away. Nothing was too much trouble. Would not hesitate to have them / Harli sit again.
Harli was the absolute perfect house sitter for us. The minute she met my anxious dog he was full of love for her. Some people just have a way with animals and pets instantly love them. This was Harli, our pets loved her on meeting.
We returned home to an immaculate house with fresh sheets and towels and all our Christmas deliveries neatly packed away from kiddy prying eyes.

Harli came to my rescue at very short notice after another sitter advised they were no longer available.
Harli communicated promptly both before and during the sit and provided regular updates about Miss Kitty and Oliver while I was away. She has a very calm but competent nature which is reassuring when you are leaving the care of your home and animals to someone else!

Harli was an amazing house/dog sitter. Alfie our border collie absolutely adored her. She gave him so much love and attention. He had a ball. Our house was also very well taken care of. I highly recommend Harli for any future house/dog sitting opportunities.
Harli did a fantastic job looking after our cavoodle Ava and our home whilst we were away in Fiji. Ava was clearly very happy with her and taken on lots of walks and played with plenty! She also sent photo updates. The house was spotless when we returned. Harli is clearly a dog lover and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

Cannot recommend Harli enough. She cared for our animals and house as if they were own. Our wee dog has some health issues which Harli managed exceptionally well. Harli is a treasure!
We are so so so lucky to have Harli mind our precious dogs. She is very easy going, and lovely to have in our home. Harli is a dog whisperer, as within an hour, she had all 3 dogs snuggled on the couch and near her. She handles three dogs excellently. After getting injured, before we arrived home, Harli took Breezey to the vet, with outstanding kindness and care. Our vet commented on how lucky we are to have such a lovely housesitter. Harli was fantastic! I was anxious about leaving my dog, who is very people orientated & is vary rarely left alone. From photo updates from Harli I could see he was content & when we returned home, I knew he had bonded with her.
