We’ sold our home in Melbourne in November 2022 and are loving this next stage of our life as we travel Australia in our fully self contained caravan. We’re no strangers to the nomadic life, having spent ten months on the road in 2021 and early 2022.

We’re friendly, reliable, honest and responsible, we love animals and enjoy new experiences and environments. Love the idea of meeting people and helping out while we travel and we feel we have lots to offer, both in our practical skills, our love of life, nature and animals and our down to earth values..

We’ will shortly be returning to Rockhampton to resume house and pet sitting after a few months travelling overseas. We’ve missed being on the road, looking after homes and pets and are looking forward to more house and pet sitting assignments in this beautiful country.. Hope to meet you soon.

Doug and Miriam were conscientious house sitters, showing great respect for the property. I highly recommend them and would ask them back in a heart beat. They loved my property, both house and garden, as I do, leaving it in perfect order and with a positive and clean energy. I can’t thank them enough for this and it made my time away from the house easy and stress free.

Miriam and Doug are fantastic housesitters. They looked after our home, two dogs and birds on two occasions and we can only highly recommend them as trustworthy and down to earth housesitters. Communication was great, we stayed in touch via email and enjoyed viewing photos of our dogs. Miriam and Doug were just amazing. We had no problems at all during the entire sit. They kept us regularly updated and you could tell they genuinely loved dogs and treated ours as their own. Anyone lucky enough to get Miriam and Doug will not be disappointed. They were happy to come over to see the house and meet the dogs before the sit. Once we got home, we were presented with a beautifully cleaned home and very happy dogs, it was a wonderful welcoming. Thanks again guys
