Hello!
My name is Karen, I'm a retired primary teacher living near the beach on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
I'm a happy, active and outgoing person who loves meeting new people and exploring new places.
I love to travel! It's time for me to spread my wings and live life wherever it takes me.
The idea of being based in one place and living like the locals really appeals to me.
House sitting with pets to keep me company would be lovely.

I'm an animal lover and have always had pets in my life however at the moment I'm without a four-legged friend.
My two old dogs, Albert and Millie were with me for many years so I miss them now that they're no longer around.
I can proudly say I've been supporting 'Animals Australia' for many years and have been a 'Wildlife Rescue' support person. I am also a member of the 'Koala Crusaders' group here on the coast.
Can't bear to see any animal suffer.

I'm a very clean and tidy person so you would have no concerns about lack of respect for your home and garden, I would treat it as my own.
I enjoy being in the garden and have a lovely garden at my own house so watering plants or cutting the grass would not be an issue.
I'm also very security conscious and I'm a non smoker.
I've been managing my son's Airbnb apartment for the last few years and so have a personal understanding of having guests in your own home.
