Hi there! I'm Sonia.

I have been house sitting for about six years now and thoroughly enjoy it. While most of the sits have been private for family, friends and friends of friends, I am now offering my services further afield through AHS.

My kids are grown up so I have more time on my hands for travel and exploring our beautiful country.

A bit about me:

I work as an online business manager, so I am able to pick up and go at anytime. As long as there is good wifi, I am set!

I love travelling and exploring new places, particularly anything of historical interest. Quirky cafes, art galleries and thrift stores are always on the list.

When I am not travelling, I am a bit of a homebody and love just pottering around cooking, reading, doing a little gardening and drinking copious cups of tea!

I have an interest in health and wellbeing, sustainability and conscious living. I am a non smoker, non drinker and prefer the peace and quiet.

I am super clean, reliable and respectful (I think it's a combination of being a first child and a Capricorn!!)

My past house owners have highly praised my house sitting as I leave their homes clean and tidy and cooked them a welcome home dinner! I am always happy to do that and pick up some shopping for your return as well.

I have a police clearance certificate and reviews I am happy to pass on to you.

At this stage I am unable to do care for for cats or dogs due to allergies.

This was the first time we used a house sitter while on holidays. After initial communications and then meeting Sonia, we felt comfortable with the prospect of Sonia looking after our home in our absence. Sonia continued to communicate with us while we were away. We came home to an immaculate cottage. From this experience, we would have no hesitation in recommending Sonia for future house sitting engagements and will most definitely call on Sonia again when the need arises.
