We are a very experienced couple with 42 completed housesits. Recent stays have been repeats and not handled through the site. We live in northern NSW and generally do sits from Foster to Noosa. We are keen to have sits in over 55 complexes to try out the lifestyle.

We have no children or pets with us, are non-smokers and have police checks and references. A fit and active couple who are honest, reliable and flexible. We have owned or cared for a variety of dogs and cats and really enjoy walking dogs in new areas. Duties have included pet care (dogs, cats, fish, frogs, rabbit, tortoise, python, lizards, horse, donkey, alpacas, sheep, goats), pool cleaning and chemical maintenance, chooks, moving cattle, checking cattle troughs, aquarium cleaning, garden and potplant watering, mail collection, gardening, mowing with tractor and zero-turn ride-on mowers and hand mowing.

During each sit we regularly email owners with updates and any queries. We would like you to provide our next review so will care for your property and any pets accordingly.

About us - a quiet couple that will be in the house every evening. We enjoy reading, number puzzles, crossword puzzles, online bridge and relaxing in sunny spots. Keen walkers so any dogs will be well exercised and we might try any local hiking tracks.

Mark and Lorraine looked after our home and pets while we were travelling for a week. They are a lovely couple who are easy to deal with, went out of their way to come to our home before we left and kept us updated prior to and during our holiday. We have an anxious whippet, a surly cat and several lizards who were all content and relaxed when we returned AND the house was clean and well cared for. Great house sitters! We had the pleasure of having Mark and Lorraine house sit for us for 10 days over Easter. They were great to deal with and we had great communication before and during the sit. They walked our 2 dogs each day and we could tell our little guys were well looked after. They were happy when we got home. Would highly recommend Mark and Lorraine for any future house sits.

It was great coming back to a clean house and also knowing pots were being watered and the basic gardening we requested handled in our absence. No rating Mark and Lorraine house-sat our house and cared for our Rescue dog for 6wks 2015 while we travelled in Europe and we were confident to leave, as our dog bonded immediately with both people. We were thrilled to return to our home in perfect condition and a happy healthy dog as well as a welcome home meal. We can highly recommend this couple for the professional contacts before their arrival and honesty and favourable comments from neighbours while caring for our property and pet.
