Hello, Lucy and Harry here! We're currently taking a break from teaching in the UK to explore Australia. Lucy previously worked in special needs education and Harry lectured at an Arts College in Liverpool. We are currently travelling and looking for house sits with access to cities and/or beaches.
We are also on WorkAway, we've attached reviews from home-owners in our pictures, hopefully they attest to our nature!
We're a responsible, caring couple with a history of looking after other people's pets, as well as both growing up with animals including cats (Trevor, Mocha and Tibby), Dogs (Dylan the labrador, Daisy the whippet, Mr. Pickles the border terrier and Frodo the Cocker Spaniel), guinnea pigs, a rabbit and fish. We love exploring, even more so with a dog in tow. We're diligent and respectful and will follow your instructions carefully, as well as sending you regular updates of your pets through texts or WhatsApp.
We're non smokers and have both worked as cleaners in the past, we're also used to tending to house plants/gardens so you can trust we'll look after your home as well as your pets.
We're looking forward to meeting our furry friends and less furry home-owners.
Lucy and Harry were dream house/dog sitters that I’d highly recommend and use again. Excellent communication throughout, very happy, healthy dog and plants were watered. House was spotless upon my return home. Thanks so much Lucy and Harry for taking great care of the dog and house!
Lucy & Harry were the perfect house sitters, they looked after our cat really well, sent regular updates and were really friendly and easy with communication. The house was spotless when we came back, even with some lovely flowers on the table. Would highly recommend and we would love to have them back another time.
Lucy & Harry have house sat for us on two occasions and did an amazing job of looking after our home, two dogs and plants.
They are very responsive and trustworthy . The house was kept clean and the plants were thriving on our return.
They also did a great job of caring for our dogs. One has separation and social anxiety. They were able to administer the required medication and keep them happy.
I can not praise Lucy and Harry enough for the fabulous job they did of looking after my home and two whippets while on hols
Being the first time I have used sitters, I was initially a little nervous, however, as soon as I met Lucy and Harry, any apprehension or worries I had, disappeared immediately.
They are such a genuine, warm hearted & kind couple,, and my dogs warmed to them immediately.

Lucy and Harry have been amazing. The house is so clean and Winnie & Bruno are very happy and relaxed. The communication has been great too! We would love to welcome them back when they’re back in Melbourne. Thank you both for making our holiday so relaxing,
I highly recommend Lucy and Harry as house sitters! They were exceptionally friendly, maintained excellent communication, and left our house spotless after a 10-day stay. Their efficiency in following house instructions and treating my cat, Ollie, as their own pet was truly commendable. I appreciated the regular photo updates of Ollie, reflecting their genuine care. If they're ever in Brisbane again, I would gladly have them house sit without hesitation!! :)
There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
