We are retired and have adult children and 2 young grandchildren. We live in Sydney and have been homeowners for 30+ years. We have had house-sitters at times over the years, so we can appreciate the need to have someone you trust in your home to look after it as well as any pets and plants.
We are easy-going non-smokers who are fully vaccinated.
We like gardening, walking, camping and travelling.
We are homebodies but also like to travel to explore our beautiful country and to visit family & friends in other places. In the past we have had a dog, cats, a goldfish and numerous chickens.
We love spending time outdoors and indoors and enjoy the simple things in life.
We have an active account on Airbnb and can provide a copy of host reviews of our holiday stays.

We actually had Irene and Dave house sitting for us from 21 September until Oct 4 and they looked after our house and our 2 - Abby and Mia - so well! It was a pleasure to keep in touch. Irene sent us updates on how things were going and we arrived home to a happy dog and cat and a well organised house. We would be happy to have them back and to recommend them to others. We appreciated the flowers they left for us too!

Irene and Dave were wonderful house sitters and I can't recommend highly enough. They took great care of our 2 dogs, 5 chooks and flowers and veggie patch. We came home to a spotless house, happy doggos and even treats made from our produce. Thank you Irene and Dave!

Irene was a super sitter! My house was definitely cleaner than when I left it - she even cleaned out the dishwasher filter! I received some lovely photos of my two cats which reassured me they were well looked after. All communication with Irene was timely and she left me a list of all relevant information when I returned.
