Greetings, I am Jarrod, a single 42 year old full-time house and pet sitter that genuinely loves all creatures great, tiny and in-between.
People find me to be calm, sincere, kind, reliable and responsible. I do not smoke, use drugs, or consume alcohol. I maintain excellent physical and mental health and enjoy the simple quiet life. I am knowledgeable and capable in varying degrees across most trades.
I have many reviews/referrals available for you to read from both Aussie House Sitters and other housesitting sites, a National Police Check certificate, and am more than happy to meet or call if you'd like.
The thing that people tend to find most interesting about me is that I was a Buddhist monk for a decade (I still abide as much as possible within a similar lifestyle and morals).

Jarrod is an incredibly judicious, organised, warm and wonderful person. Franky our cat will miss him terribly. He looked after our garden and the house incredibly well. We would recommend Jarrod to anyone who is looking for someone who is caring, responsible and grounded.

Jarrod did a great job looking after Molly, Harriet, Tiger, and our house. The pets were all happy and healthy, the house was lovely and tidy. Jarrod was a delight to chat to and he sent a lovely update with pictures of our fur babies. We would happily have Jarrod back to sit again and we would absolutely recommend him as a house and pet sitter.

Jarrod was our first ever house-sitter, so I was a little nervous of leaving my house and dogs in the hands of a stranger but I needn’t have been! Everything was immaculate and the furkids obviously loved him. I would be tempted to now plan my holidays around Jarrod’s availability!

Jarrod is a great house sitter. He has a very gentle caring nature- everything you are looking for to look after your fur babies. I would have no hesitation in recommending Jarrod. Our house was left immaculate and Bella was well looked after, safe and happy. We will definitely use Jarrod again if he not fully booked up :-).

Jarrod is a super star. There are very, VERY few people I am comfortable leaving my animals with, but would have Jarrod back in a heart beat. Great communicator, reliable, considerate around the house/property and a very calming presence for the animals. Thanks Jarrod and best wishes. Will reach out before I go away next.
