I am a single, fit and healthy 65yr old retired Nurse and part time house cleaner. I am very house proud and would treat your home with the same respect I would my own. I am also an animal lover and lead a lifestyle that promotes this. I have previously volunteered in an animal rescue center caring for a wide variety of animals including, dogs, cats, birds, ducks and many others. I have also volunteered at a rescue center for abused and neglected horses. I enjoy a quite lifestyle and spending time at home which gives me plenty of time to keep your fur babies company. This also gives me my animal fix, now that I am travelling and miss my own fur baby, I have lots of love to give to yours. I also have a passion for gardening so am more than willing to maintain your garden if needed. I am experienced in pool maintenance as I have one of my own.
I find house sitting to be a wonderful experience as I have house sat in the past and enjoy it very much. Due to the situation in the world over the last few years I decided to rent a house close to the beach at Largs Bay in SA which is where my family are. I am now enjoying having a base for my travels within Australia.
I can provide references and a police check.

I had a good feeling from the earliest communication with Jackie and as I got to know her better, that increased. I consider Jackie to be a very professional house sitter who takes pride in herself and her chosen life-style. She took very good care of our home while we were away. Jackie did an an amazing job of looking after both our pets and our house. The animals were happy and content when we arrived home, and the house was immaculate. I'd recommend her to anyone, and I feel a lot more confident to take longer holidays in the future now that I've found such a great housesitter. She was kind, friendly, absorbed all the information I threw at her when we met (this food is for this animal, this one's allowed here but not this one...) and just did a perfect job.

It was a pleasure to have Jackie house sit for us. Our dog is a bit nervous at times but she seemed very comfortable with Jackie minding her. Upon our return the house was tidy and clean and the our dog kani seemed quite content , we would like to thank Jackie for helping us out with this sit. It was a pleasure having Jackie house sit and mind our cat for us while we went away for 2 weeks and I would certainly love to do t again! We came home to a house as clean as we left it, and in addition Jackie happily rescued a few sad house plants I'd neglected and cleaned up our fridge for us. Easy to communicate with, hassle free and no dramas. This was our first time using a house sitter and this website but certainly not the last.
