KATHRYN & ANDREW

Gday Everyone!

Andrew and Kathryn here. We are currently traveling around Australia in our 4WD and Camper Trailer. We left Sydney in May 2024 and will be on the road for 18 Months.

During this time we are keen to explore as much of Australia as we can, which is a big job!

A bit about us:
Andrew is a 43 year old Project Manager for a Software Company in North Sydney. He has grown up with many many Border Collies in his life. The family home always had 2 or more Borders at any point in time, still to this day! Andrew is the type of person who stops to pat almost every dog he will walk past! He grew up camping, bushwalking and 4WDing and even explored the Simpson Desert and Cape York before his 16th birthday with his family.

Kathryn is a Facilities Manager and Event Coordinator at an office in North Sydney with 160+ staff. She has also grown up with dogs, the main breed was German Short haired Pointers, some of which were Australian champion show dogs. Her Mum also had farms with Chickens, Cats, Dogs (one was part Dingo), birds, etc. Kathryn is 8 times Australian Fitness Champion and even ranked 14th in the World at the Las Vegas World Titles.

We both LOVE the outdoors. Nothing better than being in nature and to be surrounded by as much wildlife as possible! Before leaving Sydney we spent almost every weekend out camping and 4WDing in the bush. As soon as we would get home on Sunday, we would start packing for the next trip.

We are both extremely active, motivated, organised and a laid back couple. We never take life too seriously and are always having a good laugh, usually entirely at ourselves!

We have always both loved animals, no matter what animal it is. During the last 4 years we noticed lots of Ringtail and Brushtail Possums in our garden at night. Andrew decided build nesting boxes nesting boxes and there are now around 14 possums all with names and backstories.. They can all eat out of our hands and some even love a pat and will sit on our laps too!

Although NEW to this site, we have been house sitting for family, friends and friends of friends recommending us to others over the years. We look forward to hearing from you!
