  • Christin has had the privilege of owning her own horse, which has provided her with a deep understanding of the responsibilities that come with caring for animals. She has consistently approached these tasks with enthusiasm and unwavering diligence. During her internship at an animal assited therapy center, she played an integral role in the stable chores, taking on these responsibilities with great pleasure and a strong sense of responsibility. Her hands-on experience and dedication in working with animals have prepared her well for the role of a reliable Housesitter who can ensure the well-being and happiness of your pets.

About Us:
We are Christin and Julian an open-minded and responsible couple with a passion for exploring new places and cultures.
Christin just finished her Master studies in prevention, sports therapy and management of health. She grew up with animals. She was a proud horse owner for over 5 years until she had to give this up when she started university. Dogs, cats and rabbits have also accompanied her throughout her life. Furthermore, during an internship, she worked at an Animal Assisted Therapy Center, where in addition to her responsibility for the patients, she was also responsible for the care of the animals. This also included llamas and donkeys. Julian finished his studies and is now a teacher for children with special needs. In his classes his colleagues had school dogs that were used to work with the children. The children could learn, how to take care of the dogs, go for a walk with or play games with them in pe-lessons.
As avid travelers, we are always seeking authentic experiences, and Housesitting provides the perfect opportunity to get to know local communities in Australia. We are prepared to look after pets, gardens, and properties with the utmost care.

Before we start our lifetime working career, we decided to take a year off, to find out a little bit more about ourselves and get to know another culture. Australia has always held a special place in our hearts. The stunning landscapes, fascinating wildlife, and hospitable people are some of the reasons why we want to explore this country. We look forward to getting to know the culture and people in Australia better.

Extremely happy with the amazing job Christin and Julian did. Organisation and communication was excellent, Our 4 girls were well looked after and loved. We even got a video of our very shy dingo getting pats (rare for her to ask for pats from strangers). And to top it off our home was left absolutely immaculate.
