Hi! We are Gonçalo and Rita, a Portuguese couple living in Australia for the past year and a half. We are now back to Perth after a trip to the East Coast.
We have already worked in a Dairy Farm in Victoria, where we had to "babysit" animals a bit bigger than pet animals :)
During our time in Perth, we housesat for a few houses, so we already have some experience.

About us: Rita is a joyful event planner who grew up in the countryside surrounded by dogs as pets, and other animals... well not exactly pets!...

Gonçalo is the quiet one in the relationship, which makes a really good complement. He grew up in the city and is growing fonder of all Aussie animals we've encountered so far!
Back home Gonçalo has a labrador at his family's place.

Rita and Goncalo are top-notch sitters. They were easy to communicate with on WhatsApp prior to the sit and they regularly updated us, and quickly responded to us if we contacted them, during the sit. They kept the walking, feeding, medications and daily routine steady for the dogs and we came home to two calm and content doggies. Gonçalo and Rita were wonderful house sitters and looked after our two cats Bandit and Daisy so well. Gonçalo and Rita were friendly and easy to communicate with. They came over before to meet the cats and go through everything as well which was really appreciated. Our apartment was also left spotless and they are welcome any time! They also sent us pictures and updates as well 😊 Cannot recommend Gonçalo and Rita more!

Rita and Goncalo house sat for us on such short notice and were really accommodating with few changes while we were away which they were able to help us with. Very easy going. Great vids when walking our dog Larry. Communication was very good and easy. Would highly recommend. Thanks again guys

We were so grateful to have Rita and Goncalo look after our husky and home! They are a warm and friendly couple who left everything spotless for us. Our dog was very obviously happy and well looked after. They communicated with us frequently about his care. We would have them stay again in a heartbeat! Thank you again!

When Goncalo and Rita met with us before their sit, we knew they would be perfect for our dog, chooks, garden and house. They looked after our home as if it was their own and we returned home to very happy pets and an amazingly neat garden! We would strongly recommend them for any house sit and really hope they can sit for us again.
