We are retired and have been traveling this beautiful country in our 4WD motor home for almost 9 years, We are loving our nomadic lifestyle. We are currently in WA, in the Perth region.
We are non-smokers, love animals, and are happy to do some light work and general maintenance.
Neil was in the police force for over 20 years, then worked in the IT industry. Di has always worked in administration/customer service, and for the last 8 years she was employed by Barwon Health, Geelong.
We pride ourselves on ensuring home owners have a relaxed, and stress free break while we are looking after their homes and pets. Should you have any additional requirements, please feel free to discuss them with us - we are happy to take on some paid additional work if circumstances permit.
Please note: We believe that looking after your home and pets is a Win/Win situation for all involved therefore we do not charge nor do we expect to pay for utilities.

Di and Neil were incredible house sitters. Upon meeting them, we instantly knew our home and hounds were in very good hands. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable and were not phased by any of our requests looking after 3 dogs, including administering medications for an anxious dog. Di and Neil are a friendly duo who made us feel 100% comfortable going on holidays without worrying about out much-loved dogs. Whilst we were away, they kept in regular contact and sent us photos/updates ... MOREDi and Neil were incredible house sitters. Our experience with Di and Neil was excellent from start to finish.
There was clear communication from the beginning. We were asked to complete a questionnaire which helped them to understand us and our requirements and also for us to understand their approach to the house sit. It was obvious from the outset that they loved pets and would take care of them and our home.

Well what can one say? Di and Neil went above and beyond regarding all aspects of looking after Rosie, our 10 yo Dalmatian, the house and garden during our 3 month absence. It was tough times with issues such as Covid etc, but Di and Neil just kept their cool and seemed to cruise through it all. Highly recommend them for any house sit - very professional.

Di and Neil were absolute angels caring for our dog, cat and home. They fixed a few repairs that needed to be done over the 3 months that they stayed in our home. Their communication was brilliant. Our house was left clean and tidy and we wouldn't hesitate to have them again in the future. I'm sure our pets miss them already.
Di and Neil were outstanding. Truly wonderful people who took care of our home, but more importantly, our baby girl Staffy. They messaged and sent photos of our girl all the time, nothing was too much trouble including a few vet trips. We had to cut our trip short but they were not phased and were incredibly kind, helpful and took everything in their stride. I can't recommend Di and Neil enough.

Di and Neil were delightful, warm and friendly sitters. This was my first experience with leaving Abby (dog), chooks and farm to AussieHouseSitters. I am sad it couldn't be for the planned longer trip to Alice Springs, but my little Victorian holiday was made very easy, thanks to assistance from such lovely people. I came home to a contented dog, clean house, pretty crocheted kitchen towels and several meals worth of curry in the fridge ! They'll be welcome back anytime.

So felt very comfortable on our first holiday using sitters, leaving our home and dogs in their care. Di and Neil are fantastic housesitters with great communication. This was my first housesit and i was a little nervous - They took excellent care of my dog, cat, kitten, chooks and fish on our large property and i could enjoy my holiday stress free. They went above and beyond buying my cats a fancy litter tray, stocking the fridge with a few items on my return and even collecting myself and 3 kids from the airport. Di and Neil are the best house sitters we've ever had by far! They left the house immaculate, with floors you could eat off, a sparkling bathroom and a clean fridge. We left my husband's car for them to drive - it was returned clean (a real task, I can tell you) and with fuel in it. We received regular communication and photos of our fur babies. And as well as all that, they are lovely people and we were confident that we could go away and relax! Thanks so much, Di and Neil!!

Di and Neil were fabulous. They looked after our 6 chooks and elderly dog (Molly) for two and a half weeks. Molly had an eye injury prior to the sit and required eye drops and medication. She also had an appointment at the vets which isn't an easy task and requires a ramp into the car for the old girl. They did a great job and Molly's eye is much better, Molly loved their company and has been looking for them since they left.
The house was lovely and clean on our return.

Right from the initial meet we felt confident leaving our home and our 3 cats in their hands.
Their communication was excellent. We received emails with updates and photos of the cats.
We came home and the house was immaculate. They had even noted the kind of milk we used and made sure there was some in the fridge for us!

I really don't think they missed me thanks to the care that Di and Neil took of them. I came home to mowed lawns, pot plants thriving, spotless house and even a lovely orchid gift. But most importantly two totally happy dogs and neighbours whose comment was "Gees they are lovely people, you can go away anytime."
So my dogs and ... MOREDi and Neil are very special people and wonderful dog and house sitters. It was the first time I had left my two spoilt but very different dogs, for any length of time. It was the first time we'd had anyone mind our house and we felt reassured from the start that we had made the right ... MOREDi & Neil minded our house and pets for a week while our young family of 5 went up the coast last week.
From the moment they accepted our request to take on the house sit, the communication was excellent, they kept in contact up until the date, asked us lots of questions about what we were hoping to expect from their time here, and were open to any questions we had too.
It was the first time we'd had anyone mind our house and we felt reassured from the start that we had made the right decision.
They were flexible with their arrival and departure times, working around our busy lives, and during our time away we kept in touch via messages, which enabled us to touch base and see how everything was going.
When we arrived home, we were more than impressed to find our house had been cleaned, washing done and folded, our lawns mowed and dinner was on the stove. Our pets were relaxed and happy, and even seemed to miss them when they left!
Because Di and Neil arrived with their motor home in tow, they were equipped with all their own food, toiletries, bedding and amenities. They exceeded all our expectations and we would not hesitate to invite them to sit for us again.
If you have not used this service before, as we hadn't, Di and Neil are warm, friendly and respectful, and very easy to get on with. Highly recommend!

Over a 5 week period they undertook the complex care of breeding ducks, geese and guinea pigs, the latter requiring regular attention, and all requiring organised 'mucking out'.
I cannot speak more highly of the quality of their attention and care for our creatures, their cages and various patterns of existence and feeding.
They also had to take onboard the weight of losses from natural attrition and I feel gratitude for their assuming the ... MOREDi and Neil have recently sat our hobby farm.

I would highly recommend their orderly attentions and care to anyone interested in finding good natured and conscientious sitters.
(and that is not to mention our return to Di's 'compulsory' little gift)
