  • We have helped farmers with fencing repairs and clearing through BlazeAid. We have both been employed doing grain, fruit and grape harvests, in addition to dairy work. We have looked after cattle, highland coos, goats, chickens, ducks, working and domestic dogs, cats and alpacas. Past farm sits have been responsible for checking and repairing fence lines (plain, barb, ring lock and electric) in addition to checking water troughs and completing regular animal welfare checks. We are familiar with the operation of a range of farm equipment including tractors, quad bikes, side by side, ride on lawn mowers , slasher, chainsaws and brush cutters.

We are an active retired couple, non smokers, social drinkers and drug free. We have a self contained caravan, and are travelling without pets or children.
In addition to looking after your pets we are happy to help with gardening, cleaning and other general tasks during our sits. We both love walking and the outdoors.

This was our first farm sitter experience. In hindsight I feel we could have been better hosts and we're thankful for this learning experience. We are also thankful for the opportunity to have a holiday without having to worry about the farm. I only have positive things to say about Lee and Jenni's time caring for our farm. Jenni and Lee were wonderful farm sitters for our property and animals. They were friendly and approachable, and their communication was excellent. Lee and Jenni's approach to the highland cattle we have on our property was fantastic and they were naturals when interacting with the "coos". We were very impressed to return to a beautifully mowed (and raked!) lawn. We felt very comfortable going away for a spell and leaving the little farm in their care.
