Alex & Philippa

Hi we're Philippa and Alex. We're originally from the UK and have been living in Melbourne for 2 years now, and are loving our Aussie life. Alex works as a Data Manager for an NGO, and Phil is finishing her masters degree and working in research.

We have recently adopted our own beautiful cat, Mango, who has just turned 1. Since having Mango, we've been using Aussie housesitters to organise sits while we've been away, and have loved the experience of meeting new people and feeling reassured to leave Mango with safe and loving sitters. Now that we are settled, we would love to have the experience on the other side, and pet sit for others.

We are clean, tidy, organised and reliable animal lovers. As well as Mango, we have both grown up with dogs and cats. In the UK, we became qualified cat foster carers through the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home foster program, and looked after a high-needs behaviour cat, who we absolutely adored. We have ample experience looking after family cats and dogs for periods of time.

We know how nerve-racking it can be to leave pets with new people, and we know that pets are such special members of the family. We would offer the love, respect and care that we give to our own pet.
