Welcome to our profile.
We are Anna (31) & Raphael (31), a couple for over 13 years from Germany.
Both of us have a working holiday visa and we look forward to getting to know the country and the people. We're very flexible and open to both short and long-term arrangements.
We have often done house sitting for friends and family in Germany.
We are both big animal lovers and we would be very grateful for the opportunity to look after your precious house and pets.
We have both been brought up with cats and dogs around the house. At home we have 1 family dog who we love looking after.
We are very respectful and considerate and strive to ensure that each home we stay in is secure, clean and well maintained. We enjoy gardening and being outdoors and take great pride in making sure that everything in the house that we stay in is left in perfect condition. We take care others people thing as if they were ours.
Neither of us smoke or drink alcohol.
We understand the importance of finding someone perfect to look after your pets and we want you to feel 100% confident in our abilities, due to this we are happy to stay for a night before you leave so that we can observe your routines (feeding schedules, bedtime routine, walking routes, etc...) and cause minimal disruption to your pets. This also gives your pets a chance to see us with you and know that we are trusted and safe which really helps them adjust to us a lot quicker than if we just arrived after you had already left. If you would rather we didn’t arrive a day before, or if you don’t have space for us, we could meeting home owners via video chat and then arriving an hour or two before their departure for a handover. This still gives your pets time to become familiar with us with the comfort of having you there and means that we can run through your sit instructions together and in person. We are happy with any and all options and will be led by you.
We are more than happy to keep in contact with you throughout the whole stay and send regular pictures.

Anna and Raphael were absolutely wonderful. They cared for our dog as if he were their own and left our home spotless. We got regular updates and photos of Masala. They did all that we had hoped they would and more. I hope they have a wonderful time during their travels around Australia.
Anna and Raphael were fantastic Sitters and took great care of our home, pets and garden. The went above and beyond expectations, leaving the house spotless on departure, doing plant and garden care beyond just watering, and also helped us identify a possible allergic reaction in our dogs. They also kept us updated with photos of our little ones several times throughout our trip. We could not recommend them highly enough!
Anna and Raphael were amazing house and dog sitters. They took great care of our dog and left our house absolutely spotless clean. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional dog sitters.
Weve used Aussie House Sitters for years without issue; this time was different perhaps because they are travellers on a tight budget.
Positives; house was left very clean, bed stripped & placed in the wash on departure & pets happy.
Negatives; communication was minimal & prompted. Pantry, fridge & freezer heavily utilised & a tin of Collagen ‘accidently’ taken worth $60. They have since sent a replacement when questioned.
