With a passion for traveling we started to travel the world in November 2021. We like to slow travel, meaning to stay in a place for longer and really get to know that place, rather than just passing through. When in Sri Lanka we adopted a cat that we found as a baby on the street, she was with us for 3 months and it was such a great experience. Arriving in Australia we were lucky to do a 5 weeks dog sit in Brisbane. Since then we jump on a housesit every chance we get. We love the feeling of home and having the responsibility to care for pets for a bit and enjoy slowing down for a while.
Pets give you a sense of home away from home, the moments you share with them are priceless.
Alena and Sascha were amazing housesitters and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. We could tell they really loved and cared for our doggoes which made for a relaxing holiday. They sent regular updates and photos which was really nice, too.
Alena and Sasha really cared for our pets so well that they were totally happy and at no point did I worry about them. I received pictures and messages as I had requested and the home was well cared for. Absolutely nothing to worry about and as such we remain available to them if they ever wish for any support during the rest of their time in Australia. A lovely couple, really recommend them.
