Hi, I am a retired librarian and TAFE teacher, and have a National Police clearance. I am a home-loving, quiet-living, non-smoking home owner and live near a beautiful beach on the Sunshine Coast. My daily routine involves walking to the local cafe every morning for a coffee, reading the newspaper and chatting with the other locals. I am a pet minder and housesitter now, in my retirement, and often have a 4-legged friend in tow.
Over the past 4 years I have lost all of my own sweet fur babies to old age (18, 17, and 15). They were my pride and joy, and I miss the companionship that my two dogs (a Bichon and a Poodle) and cat (Birman) gave me, hence the pet minding. Caring for other people's pets gives me a lot of joy.
Housesitting with pets is now the perfect option for me as I am free to travel a little whilst at the same time get my puppy and cat fix by looking after your darlings, and spoiling them! You can rest assured knowing that your pet/s are being loved and cared for whilst you are away, and that your home is being well-looked after and secure. Daily photo and video updates will be sent to you, and your pets will have huge smiles on their faces! I maintain my own very clean, neat and tidy home, and would feel most comfortable in a similar home.
In addition to being a quiet living and house proud retired person, I am also very capable around the house, eg, mowing lawns, whipper snipping, cleaning and maintaining the pool, watering the garden. Your home will be kept secure at all times.
I adore animals, and am not likely to go out and leave your babies for hours at a time. Your pet babies will be my priority, I have great references and reviews from both the local pet sitting service I have been providing these last 4 years since my 15 yo Poodle boy passed away, and from housesitting assignments, and I have uploaded some of these as photo attachments. I can provide you with more, as I am also on other housesitting sites. Some of my customers are now my ‘regulars’.
