A country girl originally from a cattle station in the remote Northern Territory Outback, I have been blessed; surrounded by the magnificent outdoors! and animals!!
I am now 50 and have been Pet and Homesitting for many years and I adore it!! A professional pet and home sitter with a genuinely special connection to furry friends of all breeds and ages particularly those with specific medical needs.
At 'Happy Tales' you are quaranteed a professional pet and/or home sitting service including communication while you are on vacay via photos/videos; all arrangements detailed before your sit begins and meeting your pet(s) and or ‘home’ in advance; just a few of the services you can expect at 'Happy Tales'.
'Happy Tales' assures that you, the owner/s, will feel comfortable whilst you are away; that you will return to a very happy pet and/or home and an immaculate house (offering add on services eg home cleaning, mowing, weeding, ironing and other tasks, if you'd like them completed during your sit).
I am an extremely respectful, reliable, sincere and grateful pet and home sitter. Also quiet, clean and extremely house proud and active and responsible.
Incredibly grateful for housesits in the NT, Nth QLD, WA, Toowoomba, VIC, NSW, SA and the Gold and Sunshine Coasts and in Brisbane, looking after beautiful homes, pets, plants and all that is/are the owner's pride & joy!

Deb is a very reliable, thoughtful and communicative sitter. We return to our property being even cleaner than when we left it! Our dog was settled and happy upon our return. I have recommended Deb to several of my friends who enquired about using sitters for their own homes. If you get Deb, you’re super lucky!! She’s a star!!

Deb is worth more than 5 stars !! What a wonderful woman. My Rupert seemed completely at ease with her . She looked after our place as if it was her own . I highly highly recommend her. If you can get her to look after your home you are extremely lucky.

Deb looked after my house, bird's chickens and fish for one week whilst I was away. I never got to meet her but my gut feeling was that she suited my house sit. I can highly recommend her she did an amazing job. Above and beyond my expectations. She cared for my bird's chickens and fish with the utmost care 100% happy with the job she did. Deb left my home cleaner than l handed over to her.. I am very greatful to her for her care. .She watered my plants and cleaned up my chicken poo off the lawn without any instructions.

Deb looked after my home and pups for 10 weeks after she agreed to stay on an extra 5 weeks when I decided to extend my holiday. My dear old dog was loved and cared for with genuine affection by Deb! He has recently had cancer so of course I was worried to leave him, but immediately upon meeting Deb, I knew he was in kind hands that would look after him properly. Deb communicated well, navigated multiple arrangements with my former partner to share visits with my pup, looked after my house and was in general a superstar both in terms of a Housesitter and a person. I felt complete comfort and trust with Deb and for good reason! My dog adored her and my house was a dream to come home to. I highly recommend Deb and will seek her out next time I holiday.

We had such a good time away knowing our furry babies were with Deb. They were walked, fed, cuddled and happy. Deb sent us regular pictures and videos that helped us relax knowing they were well cared for. The house was immaculate when we came back too. If you're thinking of getting Deb as your house sitter, look no more. We will definitely have her back anytime.

Deb was a joy to have look after my babies. My pups were happy and content and Deb was amazing, leaving my home cleaner than when she walked in. Daily updates and fun videos of the pups. Would have Deb back in a second. Highly recommended.

Deb is like a fairy godmother. She took excellent care of our home and our cat Percy while we were on our honeymoon. She sent us Percy updates every other day, and we could tell from the videos and photos Deb sent that Percy trusted and adored her. Deb brought in our mail and left the house absolutely spotless. We met Deb the morning we were going away and knew straight away our dogs would be loved and cared for. It made our holiday feeling completely comfortable with Deb looking after Hugo & Gracie - they absolutely loved her. The house was spotless when we came back and Deb kept us up to date with photos and videos every few days - have already booked Deb again for next year :)

Debbie was an amazing Housesitter. Our dogs were very well looked after and I think were disappointed to see us home although it was the middle of the night. Debbie kept us informed with messages and photos whilst we were away. The house was spotless on our return and Debbie had managed to introduce herself to several of our neighbours. I would love to have her house sit for us every time we go away.

We had Debbie housesit and care for our two working dogs for two weeks (just past). This was the first time we had come across Debbie and the care she demonstrated to importantly our fur babies and also house exceeded our expectations in every way. The bond Debbie established with our dogs was evident from the start and.it was clear from the regular updates that they had a lot of fun, love and great care. My Kelpie was so sad to see Debbie leave, it was evident both dogs were well cared for.
Highly recommend Debbie. We are so very appreciative and thankful for Debbie's fun engagement, professionalism and strong communication. It made our holiday enjoyable knowing our dogs (and house) were in safe and capable hands.

Debbie was an exceptional house sitter!! Debbie's meticulous and detailed care of my home and my pets was truly premium.
My home was glowing both times after Debbie's sit. And my babies (x2 dogs and a turtle)... Debbie should be charging for the care she offers. I would pay for it..100%

Debbie was just sensational, best-ever! From get-go, Debbie was totally delightful, communication was easy and timely. On meeting, it was a match made in heaven - our lot (big, re-homed, spoilt) fell madly in love with her. Given her natural affinity, high level of engagement and easy and confident interactions, I think they felt the same. She was very comfortable with dogs. We knew our dogs would be safe and loved. Debbie gave them loads of cuddles, took them out for daily walks and made sure they didn't get away with anything. On top of the lovely feeling of going away knowing our dogs were in capable hands, we came home to neat and tidy house. Should the stars align, we would have Debbie back again, in a second and without doubt! My advice: snap her up quickly! She's a superstar, can't get better..... :-)

Deb was a wonderful house sitter for both our home and 2 dogs. On our return the house inside and outside was immaculate and the puppies were well cared for. It was amazing how quick and easy it was for the dogs to bond with Deb and she kept us updated with messages and photo's so we could enjoy our holiday without worrying about them. Deb did a great job looking after our two fur babies (Ridgebacks) and house for 4 weeks of our overseas holiday.
She constantly keep in touch with us with "whats app" with lot of video and photos.
The dogs just loved her, as she walked them and intereact with them in a very playful manner.
The house was left in a immaculate manner with everything in its place and clean.
Have no hesitation in recommending Deb for house and dog sitting. Did a great job.
