Sarah & Jimmy

We are a retired couple who are interested in travel, meeting new people and helping take care of their home and animals while away. We have recently begun traveling full time and are an active, late-40's, non-smoking couple that enjoys the companionship of pets. Sarah was a social worker for 15 years and enjoys working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities. She has always enjoyed staying active with coaching and playing soccer. Jimmy is a newly retired Life Coach whose passion is helping others achieve their dreams. He's very active and enjoys long hikes. We are always up for an adventure while also being extremely responsible and dependable.
We are full time travelers who want to experience different cultures and communities by traveling slowly and living in those communities. We love learning about and experiencing new places but prefer some comforts of a home and the companionship of pets, which makes house sitting a perfect fit for us. Our travels keep us from having pets, so we find the temporary care of other's pets rewarding.
You can travel and rest easy knowing your pets and home are in good hands. We have many years of experience taking care of our own animals and homes as well as those of our friends. We make a great team as both of us are service oriented. Jimmy is an early riser who enjoys being active and spending time outdoors and will give your animal as much exercise as they want. Sarah will shower them with lots of attention and care.
We are former pet owners who cared for 2 cats until they passed away at 13 and 19 years old, after very long and pampered lives. We have experience with dispensing medications, injections/shots, insulin testing as well as giving IV fluids. We also have experience with caring for dogs and chickens.
As current homeowners and landlords, we understand the importance of real property care/maintenance and the peace of mind that comes with working with someone who's trustworthy. We enjoy yard work and will keep your home extremely clean and tidy.
We have experience as Innkeepers/Caretakers for a 6 cottage Airbnb property. This includes daily upkeep with cleaning and reservations as well as landscaping, hot tub maintenance and overall property management.
Our priorities are to provide peace of mind while you are away, security for your property and true companionship for your pets while communicating with you as much (or as little) as you desire. We have dealt with various daily issues that any homeowner can relate to as well as the ones they dread - ie. preparing for major hurricanes.
We are hardworking, adaptable, organized and extremely clean, taking special care to respect and leave your home in excellent condition. While not overly handy, we are proactive in attending to any situation or emergency that may arise. As such, we are confident that we can provide you with an excellent house sitting experience.
