Boorolite VIC

We are looking for people to come and look after our home, beloved cocker spaniels and extensive garden. This is a beautiful area - it can be explored by car or by bike and there will be snow on Mt Buller which is about 40km away Our home is comfortable with all mod cons, NBN, a wood heater with lots of wood available, and a R/C air con. It has a separate bedroom and bathroom for visitors. Caravans are welcome. Our garden needs little care over winter, but the plants in the green house will need watering. We have 2 free ranging peacocks and several free ranging crazy, entertaining guinea fowl and chickens that do not lay in winter. The various birds enjoy being fed every day, but they can find enough food in the garden if necessary. Cats are not welcome as we have such lovely birds. We have a small vineyard and some cattle, but they will not need any care for the time that we are away. Sitters are welcome to come earlier and leave late as we have a bedroom with it's own bathroom available. Our neighbours can be extremely helpful in an emergency, and we have had house sitters in the past who have been very comfortable and happy here.
