We need a house sitter

Regional NSW - Central West Slopes

Jenny

FARM EXPERIENCE preferred.

Rural property (285 acres) 20 mins out of beautiful Mudgee. Need someone to feed cat, and check on horses in paddocks close to house.
House is new; with wi fi, 4G, 3G ; but on solar so no dishwasher or microwave; TV screen (bring your own chromecast or DVDs).
Sitter must be a bit savvy to rural problems that can arise (broken fences, stock injuries etc); also to use water pump occasionally.
We are on a dirt road, 9kms.
No smoking.
3 bedroom home.
Families & their pets welcome (outside only).
Mudgee is a great area to visit - lots of NP's for day trips and a really smart & superb country town with great coffee shops, antique shops and homewares to browse through - a BigW, Woolworths, Coles and Aldi, Bunnings - Markets on weekends plus all the wineries to visit - plenty of options for eating out...
If you are interested to just do part of this time please let us know

AS IT IS WINTER, we will supply firewood. We have a wood stove to heat hot water and a wood heater. On cold nights you will need both going. Very occasionally the wood heater is not enough and you may not get a hot shower.

Fantastic spot to have some peace and quiet . Lovely house with beautiful outlook from every room Owners gave good guidelines for looking after the horses and were available via phone if required Recommend if you want a nice quiet relaxed break in the countryside

No rating We had a fantastic time in Piambong.the road in is very rough.27 horses to look after was no big deal. Jambo the kelpy cross was a beutiful dog albeit prone to wandering if not watched. The off grid house was a challenge for us as was no microwave nor television. The area was very peaceful and quiet and we really enjoyed the sunsets over the hills. This sit was one of the best we have done.

No rating Mark and Jenny were great to deal with, nothing was a problem. It was great to get a prompt response from our initial application with plenty of information about the property and during our stay they were only a phone call away. Their property is in a beautiful location - a great spot to get away from it all! The house is off the grid, very comfortable and scenic. Our time at Piambong has left us very relaxed. Thanks Mark & Jenny!
