We are needing a house sitter to look after our rural home 5 ks out of town, a large garden and a very spoilt dog and cat. Misty the cat is an inside pet, wanders outside but doesn't go far, usually sleeps in the dog bed in the kitchen , dinning room or in the laundry. Likes to be close and may want to visit you in the early hours of the morning. You must love cats and be prepared to medicate Misty with puffers for her asthma twice a day and clean litter tray daily. Bindi the poodle is also very affectionate and loves lots of attention. Bindi is totally deaf and is loosing her eye sight. Bindi has had pancreatitis in the past so must have a NO fat diet. It is really important she has nothing to eat other than what I have prepared for her. Bindi also has Cushings Disease so requires medication strictly 12 hrly and eye gel for her dry eyes daily She also requires brushing daily. You must be very particular in neatness and cleanliness in the home and you must be non smokers. No parties. The garden and numerous pot plants will require regular watering, daily in hot weather (some hand watering) particularly if the weather is warm. Would love to hear from people who are honest, reliable particular in the house and love animals.
We thoroughly enjoyed house sitting for Kay & Brenton who were very welcoming. Their pets,"Bindi" & "Mistiy" are both well behaved and so affectionate. Both are on medication which was explained ahead of time, so administering was no problem at all. Kay had everything for the pets well organized and all routines written down, which made things simple. Communication while they were away was top notch. I highly recommend house sitting for them.

We had a great time house sitting at Kay's! Her pets Misty and Bindi were absolutely delightful, the garden was beautiful and easy to look after, and Kay's communication before and during the sit was great. The home is about 5 minutes out of Renmark surrounded by grape, avocado, blueberry and almond farms. Very picturesque and we saw some lovely sunsets while we were there. A great experience overall.

HATTIE (Aug 2018 - 1 week 3 days)
this home is in a beautiful area of Renmark set amongst fruit trees, beautiful and quiet and the fur babies were cherubs to look after. Kay and Brenton are wonderful people except Brenton would not let me drive his precious MGB :(
MICHAEL (Mar 2018 - 1 month 1 week)
We had such a lovely time at Kay and Brenton's place in Renmark. Their comfortable home and friendly dog and cat made our stay memorable. We learned a new skill when applying the asthma pump twice a day to their gorgeous cat. We enjoyed looking out and seeing the orchards and vineyards which stretch as far as the eye can see. Renmark is a lovely city on the Murray River. We were made most welcome by Kay and Brenton and value our new-found friendship.
