We need a house sitter

Canberra - Gungahlin

Melissa

Free accommodation while you visit with family over the January school holidays.

House sitter wanted to mind a new, air-conditioned home, gorgeous Dandie Dinmont Terrier and a cheeky young cat.

4 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 2 toilets

Our home is designed to capture the sun during the day (Winter) and is insulated to hold that warmth into the evening and also has ducted reverse cycle air conditioning, so a beautiful warm home in the winter. Air conditioned for the summer. We have a fabulous patio in the back with an opening/closing roof system, the perfect spot for breakfast and dinner.

Children are welcome. There a lots of toys and a trampoline.

Quillie the dog only needs a short 20 min walk every other day. Sunny the cat loves a cuddle and play ...and also romps around with the dogs. He is an inside cat.

We have an edible garden that will need watering every other day but will reward you with fresh veges, raspberries and blackberries.
The garden is important to us so would really appreciate a sitter that loves a bit of watering and harvesting too. There are 2 beehives that don't require you to do anything.

It was a pleasure to care for Melissa's home and pets while they enjoyed their own holiday away. All pets were well behaved and Melissa provided a clean and tidy home to care for. Thank you for allowing us into your home, Melissa.

BERNADETTE (Dec 2018 - 6 days)
No rating It was a pleasure to house and fur/feather sit for such a delightful family. It was so easy as instructions were well typed up for us, and we were rewarded with eggs from the chooks, apples from the tree and lots of affection from the gorgeous dog, Quillie. Would love to sit for them again.
