We are an active, healthy, non smoking retired pet loving couple who have been travelling around Australia for a number of years.
We love the company of all animals - domestic and farm animals.
Peter grew up on a dairy farm and worked in the thoroughbred industry for most of his working life.
Shayne is a retired bookkeeper/office administrator who has always owned pets - dogs and cats and fish.
We are both long term Gold Coast residents who rent out our properties while travelling.
We love exploring and discovering new destinations around Australia and enjoy the opportunity to have animals back in our lives.
We are both very house proud and are able to maintain a property to a very high standard - which can be verified through testimonials and references from our previous house sits.

I couldn't have asked for better sitters! They were flexible, easy to communicate with and took great care of our house, garden and dog, even sending videos of him enjoying his off leash time in the park. I wholeheartedly recommend Peter and Shayne and hope the stars align so they sit for us again

Shayne & Peter are a very obliging couple who met with us before the sit and contacted us through out their stay with updates on how the dog was along with a general chat. We would not hesitate to recommend them for any sit. Anyone would be happy to use them to look after you pet and property.

Shayne and Peter were wonderful house/pet sitters. They took great care of my three dogs, one cat and budgies. My old dogs were well cared for and I was able to enjoy my holiday without worrying about them. They kept me up to date with photos and videos. They also accommodated me when I gave them the wrong return date. I would definitely recommend them.

Peter and Shayne took such great care of my house and kitties, I wouldn't hesitate to have them back again or to recommend them to others. Their communication was excellent, and I met with Peter prior to committing to the sit, as well as helpful discussions before they arrived. I felt completely comfortable with leaving my cats in their care, and when I got home both cats were very relaxed and calm (a good sign they got enough attention in my absence). Shayne and Peter house sit our house and did a fantastic job. Their communication was great and they looked after our place as if it was their own. Our house was left spotless upon departure and everything was washed and cleaned. They also did a great job looking after our dog Banjo and playing with him. We can highly recommend Peter and Shayne. Apart from being genuinely lovely, happy people, they provided the best possible care for our 2 GSP girls, 2 horses & maintained our Pool and yards and house. Our GSP girls were totally spoilt being taken to the beach and parks and became very attached to both Peter and Shayne, both girls were very sad when they left. It was a pleasure to do this house sit, Communication and instructions were easy to follow, Penny was a delight to look after and she enjoyed her walks to the off lead park which is close by. We would love to do this house sit again.
Thank you so much Peter and Shayne what a fabulous couple looked after our Poppy with love and care. would not hesitate to recommend them to house sit. Made our short break away relaxing knowing our unit and Poppy were very well looked after.

Peter & Shayne came to look after our home and animals for two weeks approx. We left with complete confidence that our home and beloved pets would be well looked after. They were excellent communicators and provided our pets with a great stay-cation, who will no doubt miss these guys and the regularity of the walks they were able to provide. Peter and Shay were excellent house /pet sitters ..my little dog Chloe was spoilt rotten ..Peter and Shay went out of their way to look after her taking her for walks twice a day Chloe is scared of thunderstorms so they sat up with her one night Chloe is looking for them still ..my birds were well looked after with love and care ...our house was spotless when we got home they even cleaned the oven !! I will get them again ..excellent !!

Shayne and Peter did such a fantastic job of caring for our precious dogs, Shadow and Noodle, and looking after our apartment. We arrived home to very happy and well cared for doggies, one of which can be anxious, but with the wonderful attention they received, our 'boys' were in great hands. Our apartment was left very clean with nothing for us to do when we arrived home. We highly recommend Shayne and Peter as excellent and responsible sitters and would definitely ask them to come back.

I would like to thank both Peter and Shayne for looking after Biscuit (Assistance Dog), Jackson (Spoiled cat), Smudge (beautiful oldie). I came home to a very clean house which is so hard to keep with a dog that malts so much :) . Peter even fixed the pool float problem with out worrying me. I would highly recommend them.

I could not have asked for a greater to guy to look after our 16 month old German Shepherd puppy and property! Peter took her out on regular walks, social outings and really made an effort to bond and engage with her, in fact she had more attention from Peter than we give her. He also gave us regular updates on how our puppy was doing and our home was left tidy with plants flourishing. Overall an outstanding effort from a really nice honest guy. Thanks Peter
