You'll feel secure when you ask us to take care of your pets and home! We are a Queensland couple, working online (some people call us digital nomads) we have the freedom to travel and work from the locations of our choice.
To us, every place, every moment, every home, every family we meet provides a new and unique lesson in the journey of life. We love to have a real connection with the places we visit and be inspired by the wonderful world around us. We enjoy learning about the lifestyle and history that shapes the people living in each area we visit.
We are non-smokers, have a genuine love for people and animals and if we have the chance to meet, would love to share some of our stories about pets we have rescued in our travels.
We are "slow" travelers - preferring to take time to stop and savour the food and colour of life. We prefer parks and beaches to shopping malls and night clubs. We'd opt for a leisurely eaten lunch by a river rather than base jumping off a cliff :D

As wonderful as our work-travel lifestyle is, we really miss having a pet to cuddle and play with. We see house-sitting as a way to have a more authentic travel experience - we find hotels too impersonal and see a win-win arrangement in housesitting. You have peace of mind that your pets and home are being taken care of properly while we have a more authentic and personal travel experience at a lower cost.

Being in our forties, we are mature and experienced in life. We have owned our own pets and have our own home. We will take care of yours as they were our own. We consider it a serious responsibility and position of trust to take care of another person's home or pet.
*PET SITTERS OF CHOICE
Over the years we have been asked to house-sit and pet-sit for friends and family. Seeing how much care and love we take, they have asked us back to do it again for them. "Repeat business" so to speak - we are the pet-sitters of choice because of our genuine care.
We would be very happy to have Karletta and John sit for us again. They are both very friendly to communicate with and left our home clean and tidy.
Their care for our fur babies was outstanding!
If I had to re-home my beloved staffies for some reason, I would want them to go to John and Karletta. I could see they had become very attached in the time we were away and the dogs weren't quite sure why they were leaving. This was very reassuring.
As well the house was spotless (even though I'd messed up the dates and we arrived home a day early!) and the garden and numerous pot plants were thriving. I very much appreciated that they were able to be there for handover on our arrival home. ... MORE
Karletta and John were perfect house sitters .They were so warm and loving with my beautiful dog Tigger from the minute they met him .The place was spotless when l returned and they showed great kindness in having a delicious meal ready for me and the fire set and ready to light .They delayed their time of departure as l was running late so they could personally hand over Tigger.Karletta and John are a lovely friendly couple and l felt lucky to have them house sit my place .
