Michael & I are a healthy, active couple who have lived in Sydney's Hills District for 40 years where we raised our two children, now both successful adults.
My background is that I've been a Registered nurse, Theatre RN & Midwife. I currently enjoy learning French, hiking and reading.
My husbands' background is in building & writing. He currently enjoys fishing, gardening and exploring the great outdoors.
We are both well travelled, having lived overseas for 12 x months & since then have visited many different countries
We have always been keen nature lovers & raised our children with a love for animals & the outdoors.
Since retiring, I returned to the workforce where I spent five years working in residential home care, assisting the elderly to maintain their independence at home.
My husband is multi-skilled & is also a prolific researcher & writer.
For the last nearly 3 years we have been living in The Kimberley
having some precious time with our daughter who is a doctor
working in General Practice.
We are now moving on & arrived in Cairns early December 2019.

care of your property & pets for the time you are away.
Mary and Micheal did a wonderful job, caring for our dog and cat. The house, pool and lawns, were beautifully maintained.
Mary updated us regularly, and we were able to relax and enjoy our time away. I would highly recommend them, they are lovely dependable house sitters, and I would be very happy to have them back in the future.
I can not provide a higher rating for Mary and Michael. They exceeded expectations. House and garden cared for more than I asked or expected. My animals; Dog, Cat and Budgies were in the best of care. The house sit was so good I even asked Mary and Michael to stay on after my return as they were in-between house sits. Mary and Michael have been exemplary house sitters. Took wonderful care of my two little furry feline housemates Tessa and Joybelle who, from the photos Mary sent me regularly, thoroughly delighting in their company too. Would highly recommend Mary and Michael, who basically left my home in better condition than I left it. Can't thank them enough.
Michael and Mary house-sat for us for a period of almost 3 weeks. Not only are they absolutely lovely, genuine, sincere, caring people, they also did an amazing job looking after our two furry children (2 dogs) and our home. Mary & Michael signed up for this sit initially for 6 nights but while we were away on holiday we were able to extend for another 5 nights at beautiful Bedarra Island. They were more than happy to stay and look after our little Lucy for the extra nights. We finally returned to a very clean home and Mary cooked a yummy meal for us to welcome us home. It feels a great privilege to recommend Mary & Michael. Two of the most sincere and lovely people I've had the pleasure to meet. I love their sense of adventure as they travel about Australia caring for peoples home and animals as they go. My boisterous pup was happy, healthy and clearly had a lovely week while I was away. The house was immaculate and I appreciated the freshly mowed lawns on my return, highly recommend this lovely couple.

Mary and Michael are 2 very lovely active, respectful and interesting happy people who enjoy life.
Very likable, easy to communicate with and I could instantly tell that they would be the best people I could hope to find to entrust with looking after my active dog and feed 3 horses daily for approx 2 weeks.
Mary walked the dog every day and watered plants, both of which are extra on top of what I asked . Extra buckets of horse food were prepared for when I got home.

Our first time using a house sitter so we didn't really know what to expect. How very lucky we feel to have discovered gems like Michael and Mary, our expectations well and truly met! Such kind people, nothing was too much trouble.
They came to meet us beforehand and were in touch until their stay. Communication throughout our 3 weeks absence was great. Mary also provided me with photos of our pets to ease our mind.

Mary and Michael are the lovliest people who were our rocks in a time of need. We ended up being stuck overseas due to covid and it took us an extra 4 weeks to get home!! They were excellent communicators and took excellent care of our two little dogs. They did everything they could to support us and ease any of our concerns re getting home.
