We are a retired couple who are very familiar with the courtesy and respect required when living in and taking care of your home, having recently completed 10 years of home exchange within Australia and overseas, including care of pets.
We have since downsized from a large house, garden and pool area to apartment living and are now enjoying house sitting to spend some of our time in a home looking after pets and taking care of a garden.
We are fit, healthy and non-smokers and would be happy to exercise your pets and take on light gardening duties.
Our wish would be to spend our time in the home and garden so we would give your pets plenty of time and attention.
Prefer short house sits of a week or less and small to medium sized dogs.

Easy to talk to and understanding of our needs they went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Paul and I would heartily recommend them to anyone needing house sitters . Ron and Kerry were wonderful - very communicative and organised, and were considerate enough to adjust their schedule to ensure we had a good opportunity to walk them around and settle them in. Kept us updated while we were away and left the house better than they found it. Wouldn't hesitate to ask them again - lovely people.

Kerry and Ron went above and beyond to look after our house, gardens and our dog, Lily, while we were on holiday. It was great to find everything ship-shape on our return so that we could concentrate on unpacking. Highly recommended.

Ron & Kerry looked after our animals and property in July 23 while we were in Bali. The house was immaculate on return and the the animals were very happy and well looked after while we were away. Ron & Kerry kept in contact while we were away, sending pictures of the animals and keeping us updated. I would highly recommend Ron & Kerry for your house sits and would welcome this lovely couple back into our home again.

We would have Kerry and Ron house sit for us anytime. They are friendly and caring which puts you at ease leaving your pets with them. Great communication and they looked after our cat very well, keeping us updated with photos. We came home to a very clean house and the sheets were even washed. Thank you for taking such great care of Calvin and our home.

Ron and Kerry came to my rescue with an emergency 1 night sit. On my return the house was in perfect order, no footprint of my lovely sitters were left. Of highest importance were the two happy dogs waiting for me on return. Communication from start to finish was 5 star. Despite the short time photos were sent of Ron walking the dog which were greatly appreciated. I sincerely hope they can do another sit later this year for me.

Ron and Kerry are such kind , thoughtful people who did everything to provide loving care of our dog Tilly and look after our place. Tilly took to Kerry and Ron very quickly, so we knew that she would enjoy their company while we were away, and she has always been a very good judge of character. Kerry and Ron would have to be the nicest people we could have ask for to look after our house and pets. They loved our 2 staffy's, ragdoll cat and fish. All were very happy and well looked after. The house was left clean and tidy and we were updated daily with photos and text. I would highly recommend these lovely people. This was the first experience we've had using Aussie Housesitters & i think we struck 'gold' when we found Ron & Kerry.. our old dog Cyrus, was so spoiled with 2 long walks per day, despite the awful weather.. He looked so well on our return. Our home was left spotless & we received regular updates, including photos of the many long walks. Not only was our house cleaner than when we left, I'm sure our beloved frenchie was even more spoilt on our return. They communicated via text how Milo was settling and also at times we had photos to show how he was enjoying life and being pampered!
