Hello home and pet owners
We are retired and love travelling, bridge and pets. We are reliable, honest, non-smokers and fit. Generally, we wish to visit our children and grandchildren who live around Australia and we have found that house sitting near where the children live is ideal to visit them and yet have our own space.
All of our previous house owners are prepared to give us references.
We own our home, so we know how to care for a home. We have our own cars. Before retirement Bob was an economist and Susan in human relations, both with the federal public service.

Sue and Bob looked after our house for a week while we were on holidays. They were very easy to communicate with and a pleasure to deal with. They cared perfectly for our two dogs while we were overseas as well as watering our plants.
The house was left in immaculate condition when they left.
I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for house sitters.

We are so grateful to Sue and Bob for the care they took of our home and our beloved husky Duke. They went above and beyond to make him comfortable and keep us updated with how he was going. It is always a hard decision to leave one's home and furry pets in the hands of someone you haven't met before, especially older ones. Thank you, Sue & Bob for being so friendly and easy to get along with. We felt very comfortable around you and instantly at ease when you walked through our front door. You kept us up to date what was happening whilst we were away and the photos put us at ease.

Fantastic experience dealing with both Bob and Sue - despite some challenges on my end they were flexible and responsive in the planning. As for the stay itself - we got lots of nice pictures, updates and the house looked sparkling on our return. Thanks for looking after the house and the critters :)

Bob and Susan house-sat our house for three weeks over Christmas. They took very good care of the house, garden and our dog and cat. We returned to a clean and tidy house and the lawns had been mowed which was great. They sent us updates on the pets on Messenger which was great and they were always contactable if needed. I can highly recommend them for any of your house sitting needs. We will definitely approach them again if we ever need the house and pets looked after in the future.
Sue and Rob were excellent housesitters who were exemplary in their care of our home and pets. Their clear communication style, proactive approach to house and pet care and obvious affection for animals ensured that our long awaited holiday was stress free and enjoyable. We recommend this lovely couple to anyone who needs housesitters and would welcome them into our home again the next time we go away - if they are available!
Sue & Bob were very flexible in organising our house sit. They arrived on time and communicated well with us while we were away to keep us informed of our pet, even sent photos which made us happy, and any problems with the house (there were none). They are very trustworthy and we have no hesitation recommending them.
